21:25 !! Holy Crap! I was there in March and had the same experience. There was still snow and ice on that Murphys Hog Back, ABSOLUTE pucker moment. My buddy went down after me and was literally shaking when we met at the bottom lol. I thought I was going to slide off at one point as well.
@@HoglundOverland it doesnt look so bad on camera but when my back tires started to slide towards the edge I was freaked out...did the rest of the decent with my belt off incase I had to jump out lol.
@@MarioLoco03 It's funny after we went down I had the thought that we should have put down the traction boards, we didn't really need them but that would have made it a tad safer.
@@tacomabeast Ohh no no, there wasnt ice in the tracks, there was snow and ice outside of the tracks. I was there March 15th, conditions looked identical to what you guys experienced, I have a rookie video on my youtube channel. Super sketchy in my book. Even sketchier, we watched a dude with a Jeep and a small trailer (like a turtleback) go down it. I don't think I woulda had the guts to do it while towing anything. Awesome video as always guys!
TacomaBeast is amazing! Their videos inspire me to jump in an off-road car and hit the open road. The storytelling and love for driving is unparalleled. I'm addicted and never miss a new upload! 😄🚙
I have done this trail twice. 1: Shaffer trail to White Rim. 2: we went in via Potash. We did the slot canyon hike as well as hiked out to the 1000 year old Anasazi ruins. Epic, must do trail. We camped at Murphy’s Hogback C on the first trip and Hogback A on #2. We finished up at Labyrinth on both trips as well. Loved Hardscrabble. And most of all, best done with friends and family.
Legit feedback, this particular trail was a challenge to film because of not being able to fly the drone. We'll choose a place where we can fly the drone more next time.
I get so happy when I see another video drop from you guys … and then I get sad because I can't afford to outfit my stock 2020 TRD like those beautiful monsters I see here. Any suggestions about where to start?
You don’t need all the fancy gadgets to go out! Start going camping with what you got and enjoy nature! If you want to know which mods are on these tacos you’re welcome to shoot us an email at support@tacomabeast.com
Hello, I have a tss offroad v4, was wondering if you guys recommend I do a overland build with it. I don’t plan on doing heavy off-roading or anything just want to do 3 things 1. But the cage thing on the truck bed 2.put rooftop tent on it 3.put the drawer system in bed of truck I just want to do a build so me and my wife can go camping by the lake or beach. Something simple. What do You guys think, is it a good idea?
You don’t really need a lot of stuff to go camping! It certainly makes it more convenient but you could go out and camp with just a RTT and a bed rack. If you ever need help building your taco we’ve got a team of experts dedicated to helping you out. Feel free to email them at support@tacomabeast.com 🤙
Awesome ride and camping trip love the views and those lobster tails looked delicious. tacomabeast is the best I ordered a lot of my taco mods from you guys

Definitely throws a smile on my face and gets me stoked whenever Mateo and ken get together to an over landing trip
We love it!

I think so too
How did Kyle clear the brake calipers on the 4Runner with the trd 16 inch beadlock wheels.
I believe he's running FN Wheels 17" if I remember correctly

Dude that’s going to be awesome!
So awesome! Keep it up TacomaBeast!
Thanks! Will do!
Hell yeah. Love this. I’m def the same way with noises from my truck. Will drive me crazy until it’s located.
Right on
Special thanks to Ken man thanks for inviting mateo and now we can also enjoy the Beaty of this trail
I drove right up and got a permit day of. Didn’t get a camp site so I knocked the trail out all at once. Easy peasy.
If you’re in the area. Send it!
Hell yeah 🤙
Another spectacular tacomentary!!!
Thanks!
Thanks again!
Awesome video man! Would a Tundra be too wide for this trail?
It’d be fine.
Hell yeah! This trail’s definitely on my list!
Y’all are amazing!! Keep up the great work!
Thanks for watching 🤘🏻🤘🏻
Thank you! Will do!
I think we shared the airport campground with your father last fall. We liked his off-road trailer and he shared oven baked cinnamon rolls
I'd love to tag along on an adventure with y'all! 22' TRD OR built out ready to go.
That would be sick! Shoot us a dm on Instagram and we can talk about doing a collab or something 🤙
Hey Ken Hoglund, you need to post videos again, I love your style and energy.
Thank you 🙏🏻
Great trip! I’d love to go with you guys sometime. Ken, I’ll do the dishes!
Hell ya , 🎉 looks like a blast !! I love camping 🏕️
Us too 🎉🎉
To much facetime not enough Taco time. Show your builds more 🤙

What suspension and tire setup is on the 2010 Tacoma?
If you guys are ever on the east coast lemme know . I would die to do a trip with you guys
Awesome trip! Gave me memories of when we did it a few years ago. What month did you guys go? There was no snow when we went in May.
We went around late April/ early May
🤙🏾🔥I got to get a better job lmao
I can't believe you guys didn't invite me!! I'm offended!! :)
Next time!
how much for a complete build #African terrain
Depends on what you’re looking for but full builds usually range from 30-40k on mods 🤙
TB I feel wouldn’t be the same without ken.
Ken is a legend!
Thank you 🙏🏻
Help clean dishes. That was so rude smh
My bad 😅
