She has the most beautiful voice in the world...I hope she is happy...God bless her. Take care Barbara and thank you for all the goodness you have done
Spelling her name wrong in the title should've been a clue about how inaccurate this would be. That property is probably worth closer to $100 million. Three separate houses, each on an acre on Point Dume. You showed 30 year old pictures of a house she donated to the state of California in the late 1980's.
Thank you ... we actually toured the Ramirez Canyon (Jon Peters) ranch back in the day (mid 1990's). After braving the torn up rickety dirt road leading DOWN to the place (it was actually in a gully, at the bottom of a canyon), and obviously vacant, so we climbed a fence and just roamed the place freely. Eventually, an older pissed off woman screamed over at us so we hightailed it outta there. They had to have cameras even then, so I don't know how we weren't arrested. The property was way smaller than we had imagined from seeing it on TV; a hodgepodge of (tacky) outdated structures and styles didn't work together at all. But the landscaping was impressive. After seeing it, it did not surprise me that they never did find a buyer.
@@Mike-fp5rc i think the wildfires in 2018 did a lot of damage. The main house (Peach House) was completely destroyed. Over the years the neighbors have gotten even more cranky.

The place was really isolated and I think that was the appeal, especially coming from the Carolwood Dr. place in Holmby Hills where you could literally stand at her gate and mailbox. We camped out there for hours just watching the gate opening and closing for deliveries. Eventually 3 cars came out, but just then a neighborhood security guard showed and blocked us in so we couldn't follow them. A very dark tinted window came down and flipped us the bird and I believe it was Barbra. After about 10 minutes, the guard said "You guys have had your fun", and let us go. Haven’t looked at all the comments to see if someone already alerted you to that, unfortunately, you got the Artdeco house a bit mixed up she “sold” that house around 1993. I say “sold” because actually that house was just one of a handful of homes she designed on a 24 acre property she actually donated, not sold, to the State of California around 1993. “Entertainer Barbra Streisand has donated her lavish 24-acre Malibu estate to the Santa Monica Mountains Conservancy for a conservation institute, a gesture conservancy officials are comparing to the historic gift of Will Rogers’ ranch to the state park system in 1944. One of the houses on the property, featured in a cover article in the December issue of Architectural Digest, is a monument “down to its door knobs,” according to the magazine, to Streisand’s fascination with Art Deco style. The magazine said her collection of Art Deco furniture and decor will be sold at a New York auction house in March. Edmiston said, however, that the conservancy wants to keep the furniture, which he described as integral to the spirit of the house. “We’re gong to ask if she would donate that. Or, maybe some payment can be made for some of the pieces. Other houses on the property, according to Edmiston, include two “country-style dwellings"--one suggesting a sumptuously remodeled barn--and a Mediterranean-style villa with a 2,000-square-foot projection room…” Otherwise you got the rest of it right… FYI if you think the mall is a little bizarre, she loves roses and there has been a genetically created rose created and named for her. Yes as noted Below the art deco home was from her former Ramirez Canyon compound she built in the 70s and early 80s with Jon Peters . . 5 small homes on the property . . Got to get your facts right . . After split with Peters in 83-84 . .she later doneted the Canyon compound to the state in the early 90s and got 15 mil tax write off . . Nobody would buy 5 small houses in a canyon for 18 million dollars . . .it was a bad investwmnt for her . . .being cash strapped she was forced to go back to live concerts . . .and now she's worth 400 mil . .it was always the music .

i have to say, although the piece of property is in a gorgeous spot, and the outside of the house and aerial photos look amazing, i was pretty unimpressed when i saw the inside. the 4 colors only they have in the entire estate is ghastly to me and terribly not appealing to me at all...but then again, it's not about me! ;)
I don't know. really 20 mio? Steisands versatility in art and personality is totally projected in this mansion and its gardens. What do we need to raise the value of this compound with another 15 mio? Stone brick first floor and on top natural wood finish on the second floor. Roofs in sjingels or even better in bourgondic red clay shingels. That would make it very classy. I see multiple ponds in different shapes ...and a willow. my mom had a willow..... We need rectangular ponds bordered with all blue natural stones. This property yearns inside for antiques furniture in dark oak, wallnut, cherry wood and chestnut. combined with beige more modern leather coaches and seats on iranian big colourful carpets. In short, exclusively located property with total ecclectic finish in- and outside. She has a good taste in art deco and other costly paintwork. Normally the barn should have a couple of stables too. Modern electric window stores. We all loved Barb when acting on television in the 70ies and the 80ies.
I'll give you a tour of Of my School bus Transition home as a. Pool, jacuzzi!!!! And a place for two Horse's .I didn't need A millions of $$$$ To have home to be Happy 😊🤗❤️🎵🎶

One would think that the person posting this video would at least spell her name correctly. Am I right?
Or stop calling her "Babs". So downmarket.

Nobody would buy 5 small houses in a canyon for 18 million dollars . . .it was a bad investwmnt for her . . .being cash strapped she was forced to go back to live concerts . . .and now she's worth 400 mil . .it was always the music .

I find her decorating style a bit on the unctuous, precious side. It is very studied. Rather the opposite of relaxed and comfortable.
Please, she is Ms Streisand not Babs. That is for her close friends only.
i have to say, although the piece of property is in a gorgeous spot, and the outside of the house and aerial photos look amazing, i was pretty unimpressed when i saw the inside. the 4 colors only they have in the entire estate is ghastly to me and terribly not appealing to me at all...but then again, it's not about me! ;)
The four color pallet was from a home she hasn.t owned in 30 years,
@@ilovebarbra2 - thank God! lol!
She is the richest democrat ever!
How can I apply for a job there? Please! Help!
Barbra is how it is spelled
How are you, we would love to see YOUNG DOLPH Homes.
Her name is spelled “Barbra.” Not Barbara.
And stop calling her Babs. Seriously.
Boy everythings all about Barbara, looks like her husband doesnt get much say in any of the decorations. But l love all the flowers.
I don’t see a house tour… BUT SHE DID DO ONE FOR OPRAH
It must be nice to be rich!!
Just a message to note that Streisand's first name is spelled "Barbra".
Barbara Joan Streisand
my name is Barbara.she just sounded it out.lol
Her name is Barbra, not Barbara.
Your tour is not correct. You mixed up her new home with her old homes. you showed Barbra's homes from the past like the deco house.
I love how you did this video, because you know that if she goes to take down your video, you can sue her for millions of dollars for damages. lol
Some of this information is incorrect. In addition, the photos do not correspond correctly with the script....

Why would a green dress from one of her films be “ Infamous”? I don’t understand the use of this word in this context.
Her doing a house tour is so deeply ironic
Barbra, not Babs. Only tabloids call her that. It makes the narrator of this video sound so uncultured.. I stopped viewing at 3:38--it's so cringey to hear her refer to Barbra Streisand that way.
