back in the day i used to be so against airball when it came out being a woodsball player since 88., but i get why it did,. just now watching this it hit me. it is exciting when you are playing woodsball but to watch it, its kinda slow. you cant see stuff,. and there is no push. i get it now. i would love to see a pump class, or even a sstock class though /
@@extec101 not true. They are all still wearing paintball specific googles, just with the full face and ear protection removed. The NPPL rules at the time had face and ear protection as optional. Some players thought the additional protection restricted their hearing and yelling too much. Mostly just macho BS. I know this because I’m old and I actually played this tournament, with googles only (like an idiot).
Last team I played for was Swarm in 01-03. Always looked up to these guys.
I played on Swarm in 02 and 06. There was no Swarm in 03.
