Waaah! I read one of his books too! And it's amazing 🤩❤ I read the "Steal Like an Artist" one :> i love your content so much ❤ i get inspired to do art everytime. 🥰
Jess: Could you please consider doing a video on how you have developed the patience and centered calm for your endeavors like art? I see your meditation and yoga and nature habits but have you always been this way? Looking for suggestions for a type A art newbie who is driven by checklists and time is money. I retire early at 53 in a couple months and I really want to change. You seem very content and peaceful with the discipline and practice of art.
Oh this is such a lovely and articulate question. I think the true answer is with a lot of practice... I have not always been this way. I am conditioned to be very type A, and I was that way during the corporate part of my career. But... it didn't work when I became an artist. And so, there was a vast period of unlearning, and in that space I found practices to help hold and guide me along the way. I will try to speak to some of this more in my videos, yes!
I did read it about 4 years ago. Some of its content is absolutely essential, not all tho. Have you ever tried replace honey with an organic date sirup? Delicious:) If you look straight into the lens when talking to the camera, not at the camera's screen, it will be like you are look into our (the watchers') eyes :)
