Cane Corsos are super fast! My brother bred a litter a while back, and even the puppies were little quicksters. They are by far the best breed Iv come across.
I have one, and he is the second cane corso I've had. best breed ever. smart, emotional in a good way, and very family friendly. The guys in the video are just telling their dogs to sit and stay, and getting them to bark. My dog Elmo is the smartest, coolest dog I've ever had that could switch to be the best protector in a second. Yes, he is a pain in the ass - a puppy who can snatch food off the kitchen counters and table. As much of a pain as he is, and as much of a worse pain his predecessor was, I can't imagine getting a different breed of dog.
Cane corso dogs are one of the best breeds they have only one health problem very protective watch and gaurd dog loyal very trainable and it can sense when danger is there and will by itself usually attack
You dog is well train bro, and a gorgeous colour. I'm from the United Kingdom as was looking to get a presa canario as my Rottweiler has passed away after 11 years but I've heard good things about these dogs and was wondering can you legally own these in the uk? Cheers
I had a cane corso growing up and if a stranger came near my push chair when I was a baby, he would growl at them. One of my parents could take him out on a walk at 12 am after a late shift at work and we happened to live by a park that was quite dangerous after dark and no one even went near you if you were with him. I'm moving to a bigger house after I graduate uni to become a vet and I want to get another cane corso, does anyone know any good breeders?
This is the thing I know what my dog is capable off as the animal an strength he's got I will never train this dog to attack cause that's already in their blood, second this dog is been provoked I never leave my dog alone unsupervised in the back yard because I know how protective he is of home and my family now if I take him outside for a walk,to the pet store or to the dog park he is a very friendly dog but still I don't let just random people to approach him and snuggle him because he is a cane corso and you have to respect them as the breed they are
Simone LOVE I would suggest a Rottweiler, or a German shepherd, make sure they are from a working line, and from a reputable kennel, pay atleast 1500 for one. I have a German shepherd, it is my first dog, its extremely intelligent, with extra emphasis on extremely, German shepherds do require alot of running, they're a little less intimidating then rotties, and not as aggressive, even though my dog is a little over protective, its nothing too bad. German shepherds are really smart, my dog learned to open doors, even unlock them, just by watching me, super easy to train and always ready to work.
Hey is this breed hard to handle like the rep a pitbull/rottweiler has? I understand how it comes down to the owner too mostly but as a breed itself are they gentle to handle or difficult? Want a guard dog with short hair but a breed that is good around lil kids too. We have only had a doberman and german shorthaired pointer, both light weight dogs for experience.. if you can please give an honest opinion. Thanks for the video !
not really. breeding comes into it, also the way you raise them has alot to do with it.i have a female gsp aswell. they are much harder to deal with than a corso imo. as a breed theyre not know for unpredictable behaviour, although theyre more of a chill by themselves kinda breed. happy to ponder about the house and gardens doing what they do ie. guarding. theyre just big strong dogs which is why most have the idea theyre tough to deal with.i live in southern italy where the breed was created so my experiences are with the original lines of corsos not the mixed lines in the us ect they have today. you won't regret getting one just remember they need ALOT of food and a decent amount of excersize.
I like the fact that in this video K9E did the training I'm assuming at the client's home. But, I've aways wondered (not as a troll but some one truly interested)...do the dogs really snap into action when it gets real? In every training video, no matter the company, they are using people the dog knows. Usually the dog's tails are wagging...so the dog thinks it's a game. Then. And, in a real life situation, if the dog has a hold of an intruder's arm the intruder would be pounding the dog with all his strength. Trainers are obviously not going to take the training to that level of realism. This is why I'm asking? Again, not to "troll"...
theyre stronger than pitbulls i ve never meet a corso and they look scary but i have a thing for missunderstood breeds i want to change the peoples perspective. i dont own a pitbull but my neighbor does and i trained her and socialaized her with my lab and she is just as calm as my lab. but cane corsos they kinda scare me i dont know why. ive been with mastines napolitani , pitbull, dobies, and rottweilers
Why would you want that? Jumping over a fence without a command would be a law suit for you.. If you mean he'd jumped a fence when given the command then nice.
you say it like you're proud? you realise the implications of that don't you? you'll be lucky if your poor dog doesn't get put down, sadly it doesn't sound like he'll/she'll make it to die of old age.
Ya'all sorry but this is not a pure breed Cane Corso! ... I have one.. i should know! Canes have droopy big lips .. droopy eyes n not so far apart .. head round.. longer tongues .. hair ticker longer with under coat and no square jaw like the one here .. Looks like a cane mix with pitty .. I also own a blue brindle pitty.
I also own a cane corso ICCF certified, and I think this is a full blooded cane corso, a very good representation too. I highly doubt they would take a mutt and teach them security training, trainers like to know what they're dealing with, and the easiest way is to get a pure bred dog.
as a dog trainer dude you know nothing about dogs .... each time i see someone showing off with his dog while putting him an e collar around his neck i go crazy .... and 2nd mr show off when you do the bite work with your dog buy him a harnest other wise your dog will stop biting well if you block him ... Good Luck
a thing of beauty... The way the motorists look at the Aston Martin - same way i see this dog, he's just beautiful...
The more I get to know people............the more I like dogs!!!
Cane Corsos are super fast! My brother bred a litter a while back, and even the puppies were little quicksters. They are by far the best breed Iv come across.
That dog is a confident and proud worker. Awesome work, Achilles has it made with an owner like this.
I am definitely going to get one of these dogs. Love the obedience and the bite hold.
I have one, and he is the second cane corso I've had. best breed ever. smart, emotional in a good way, and very family friendly. The guys in the video are just telling their dogs to sit and stay, and getting them to bark.

You dog is well train bro, and a gorgeous colour. I'm from the United Kingdom as was looking to get a presa canario as my Rottweiler has passed away after 11 years but I've heard good things about these dogs and was wondering can you legally own these in the uk? Cheers

Wish every owner thought like you do.
Simone LOVE bullmastiff would be best for you. I have two. They are lovable dogs and with protect owner but not property.

Jorge Ramirez you have a PC and NOT CC

lmao stfu.
That is a way better mix than a pure Cane Corso. Pure Cane Corsos' are not as tough.

wht a idiot apparently you r clueless to thnk u know anythng about corsi
Looks like a purebred young corso to me
If ur dog isn't hard of hearing i don't think speaking so loudly to him will make him mind any better. A command is a co
Don't speak unprepared
Needs his toenails clipped.
Is this a joke?
