Hiking to Paradise Falls Arkansas

- We, Jackie, Sharon and I decided to hike to Paradise Falls. We had heard that there were at least 5 waterfalls , Twisted Knee and Paradise Falls were the ones that had a name. The trail was about 3.4 miles in and out. We had to look for the trail many times because the wet leaves covered the trail. We had to cross the streams about 4 times to get where we wanted to go. The weather was perfect , about 20-30 degrees and plenty of sunlight. We were drenched by the time we finished the hike. But it was all worth the effort, sore muscles and tripping on some hidden holes . We said it was magical and fantastic hike. We would do it again. Directions , use All Trails app if you have one. From Kingston AR go on highway 21 south to past Mossville, just as soon you arrive at Mossville look for a parking area to your right. Park there and you will see the trailhead opening . Follow the trail and look for pink/oranges strips on the tree branches to guide you along the way . Be sure to go to the T where you can go to the left on the trail to see Twisted Knee waterfalls. When you come back to the main stream you will cross the stream and go up the slope, go a short distance and you will hear Paradise Falls. There is rope you can use to go down to the falls. BE VERY CAREFUL, the trail narrows and it is slippery. I rate this trail as moderate to difficult , be careful .

Looks like a wonderful place to go hiking the scenery around is lovely , the waterfalls and surrounding waterways are beautiful so peaceful out there winter hiking is nice too very nicely captured and presented best wishes stay safe and well new friend from Australia 💙

Seems hiking this area with temps in the high 20°s is ideal. You can enjoy some of the wonderful ice formations without it being unbearably cold.
