This one is for rollers, but not say the spreader won't give you enough space to attack a failed hook because it will, so you could use it on hooks as a spreader.
Normally, a failed gearbox would suggest the key still turns, but it can't open, I had one to 6 it bent the rail inside the lock case, that's how strong it can be.
That was a great little video. For doors but what about my windows I've got 3 acting up ,,A guy came out and mashed the plastic on the first one ok! it opened but I had to stop him right there.. I mean I'm a lock picker 10 years+ but windows 😢 that's not me . I'd like a video on stuck windows (please...) Robbie from huyton Liverpool UK 🇬🇧
I disagree with you in my area the council have just fitted new upvc doors to all there houses, this tool is designed to make your life easier, I have done there doors for years without this tool, for me it makes my life on site quicker and easier.
The tools work, but for what they are you could easily go to B&Q/ Selco and improvise. Plus the tools don’t feel premium, they feel cheap and tacky. The welding is poor as well.
@harvardfacebook7372 Sorry, I have to disagree. The tool is well built, and there is nothing wrong with the welding. It does everything it is supposed to and more. It doesn't have a cheap feel at all. You have your opinion that is fair enough, but I strongly disagree.
@@ActiveLockCentre The handles are made from cheap plastic with no grip and the spreader plates don't have to be so heavy. The company needs to make improvements, before another one comes along and takes it to the next level. Thank you for your comments.
Good video well done
@stephenaltoft6792 Thank you.
This question was on my mind, I'm glad you've acted out the scenario. I can't wait for mines to arrive. Thanks.
Thanks, I am pleased I could help you out. Let me know how you get on with it 👍
Will this work on hooks and composite door?
Unfortunately, no, but hopefully, something will be coming out soon 👍
@@ActiveLockCentre that’s ashame, never mind, thank you for taking the time to reply
Thanks Great video seeing the spreader used correctly on and outwards opening door. Does this work outdoors with hooks only and no rollers?

If the gearbox has fail and the bolt is on are you still going to use this?

If you have a look at this video I did, that should help. You will need the Souber window tool.

Nice channel but you need a better microphone.
Ya, I know. Can you suggest anything, I did get something, but it was even worse 🤦♂️
You do realise because of the wind we can barely hear a word you are saying
Sorry about that 😅
