Yeah mine comes in tomorrow. It’ll just be me putting it together. Gonna be a project. Didn’t realize how big it really was until I watched this video. 😂
I'll receive mine in 10 days. I knew it was huge because everyone said so, but it really hit home when I measured out 80 inches across my spare bedroom wall where it'll live. It's massive, but it's big enough to hold my 1604 VLZ4 on one side and my MPC X on the other, also with rack units, it solves alot of of the gear location issues I was trying to solve with the right desk. My huge Mackie mixer is meant to be rack mountable so it'll back perfectly into the rack gap on one side of the desk. Pretty amazing deal for the price. How do you like it so far? Do you think it's able to be disassembled and rebuilt later if you moved?
@@WidowmakerStudios I feel you I do got most of the rack gear installed working on cable management and then have to move the old set up out get the computer system set up etc the fact that the studio has been used for storage etc for the last 2 years dosn't make it any easier
i found that the bolts labeled "A" (the ones you're putting in with the allen wrench at 3:07) do not thread into the holes in the legs of the desk as suggested, but rather slide in and out of the threading while making light contact. am i dumb? did they send me bolts that were too narrow or something? turning them just spins them in place, naturally. i'm frustrated, this desk seems nice.
I still prefer to keep mine on stands. I had a friend who bought the same desk and put the hs8s on it and I think he said it would make the desk wanna fall back. Personally I don’t put monitors on there because it’s too low for me
TY for the vid. The price point for the desk makes one a bit cautious. The racks appear to be 4 u racks - is the build sturdy enough to hold heavy gear in those racks (ie: something like a Neve MBP and a 2-Bus+)? Also, is the main desk surface at 40" AFF or is that the upper shelf? Is there a cut-sheet available anywhere- that would answer most of my questions.
Those rack side panels are made of composite wood. I doubt it. The table top is solid though. But it needs 2 more support beams. Composite wood for the rack panels was a terrible choice.
I’m 5’8 and it is pretty low. Almost hits my knees but doesn’t. But I’m never pressed up on my desk like that. Esp if I have the keyboard out. But I can see that being a thing for taller people who really snuggle in their desk
@@williamwatson2800 No. BUT, with the right parts you can modify if you're handy. You can buy a keyboard tray attachment. I just finished setting up the table, I am very happy with it. but i will modify the keyboard tray
It’s 39x16 inches :) I just put a 46 keyboard on it a few days ago and it just barely fit. Tho my keyboard had midi pads on the side a 61 keyboard might be too long
@@WidowmakerStudios thanks for the quick response! I’m measuring mine right now at 38x16 haha it might just work. Thanks for the vid tho this might just be the desk I choose
An Arturia Keylab 61 is 341/2” X 12” so if measurements from Widowmaker are correct it should be fine. That was/is my concern. I’d also like to see a detailed spec sheet for the desk and I don’t know hwy they wouldn’t provide that info on their site.
@@kennethhwilliams3350 dang times flies. Shortly after posting I purchased a Monoprice stage right studio workstation desk. The keyboard tray fits my 61 perfectly. I’d say it’s a little bit on the lower side but I’m pretty tall. Might install some simple risers soon but as of now I’m pretty satisfied with it.
did your monitors not fit on the included stands? I see at the end youre still on seperate monitor stands... curious if I can fit my 35" ultrawide and *" focal monitors without using seperate monitor stands
Thanks for this great info and what you bring to this channel! Does the bottom board have to be attached or can one choose to just use the legs? Thanks for your time to reply:)
Hey thanks for the video man, looks sick! I have one question, if you would please answer it! Do you think the desk is able to be disassembled and then reassembled after moving, or is it "one and done"?
id say you can disassemble and put back up. i actually moved to cali in august and i still need to go back and get the rest of my studio including my desk so I myself will be experiencing this lol.
How wide is the keyboard tray? can't seem to find the dimensions anywhere.... thanks
39x16 IN... hope that helps :D
@@WidowmakerStudios Yes it does..... it arrives tomorrow... Thank you!!
Taking a moment to appreciate that glorious desk building montage -
thanks for the overview homies
Our pleasure!

Enjoyed your metal unboxing/set up. Keep up the good work.
Thanks, will do! i more new demos coming soon! keep on the lookout!
Put mine together by myself took 2 hours, but I am old and banged up pretty good.
Wasn’t a quick setup either way. Had a lot to do lol

Can a 32 inch Ultrawide curve monitor fit in the middle?
thats prtty much what i keep on mine! an ultrawide
it's about time somebody stepped up n offered decent desk builds for the project/home recording studio setup.
I SOO AGREE! you dont know how long i would search internet for options... there wasnt much lol sp glad these guys came out with this

What’s the measurements between the two outside racks on this desk? I’m looking to set my Presonus Studiolive 32Channel in between the two.
Will 8inch Yamaha studio monitors fit!?!?!

all in all I think the desk is a bit low but for the price and the value it’s just a great desk

If so what's width with the tray pushed in?
just measured, thats it without the keyboard extended
Thank you so much bro ❤
What are the dimensions of the three rack table tops?
"slightly wider than 19" rack units"
