    Gaelic with Jason is a great course and affordable. He's a WONDERFUL teacher.. He also has tons of free videos on TH-cam.

    I so wish we were taught it at school! I hope it never dies out. I'm learning it on duolingo. To you and all other Gaelic learners here - good luck and keep it up 😊.

    Happy I've found this channel. My wife and I are begging to learn Scottish Gaelic. We plan on teaching our kids and being a random family in the Appalachian mountains that speaks the language.

      Thay actually makes sense, as many people that live in the Appalachians are decendents of irish and scottish immigrants, particulary from the Highlands.

    I’ve been learning Gaelic I use Duolingo and learn Gaelic and I go to Gaelic lessons. I find duolingo good however it gets repetitive.

      Repetition is one of the most important things for language acquisition. It sounds like you're doing the best thing, though, by mixing resources!

    I wish I had the ability to learn both Scottish and Irish Gaelic, but between a stroke and a bad memory, language isn't my friend :(

    I made an attempt to learn Gaelic from Tailed, but I ended up being a horrible student. Still very much appreciate his helping me in the attempt. :)

    I’m using the speaking our language course to learn the language it is getting there slowly, my mum was an Irish ☘️speaker so some words and sounds are familar, but there are plenty differences between Irish Gaelic and Scottish Gaelic; it’s a rich beautiful language I’m going to keep at it 😊😊🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

    Are Scottish Gaelic and Scots Gaelic the same thing? It seems like they’re interchangeable when searching online, but I specifically want to learn Scots Gaelic.

      They're the same thing as far as I know!

      Scots Gaelic is the language that came to Scotland from Gaelic expansion during the times of Dál Riata and is a sister language of Irish. Scots is a language that came from pre English Anglo Saxon language, English and Scots are sister languages.

      @@ScottishFeature it came out when I was already B1-B2, and the programs/podcasts have been good enough for vocab and grammar reminders. It feels a bit less systematic than I would like, but I think it's good to have one fun resource and one big dull grammar book. What's your problem with it? I heard the website is buggy

      The teaching materials lack coherence. I've not watched any of the programmes.
