Keith Richards wrote this song and the song Angie for his children. It is such a beautiful song. Mick has a unique voice and he is a great live performer. I have seen the Rolling Stones so many time and every time, Mick has so much attitude he is "Jumping Jack Flash" and then there is that "Mick Strut" so great! These are serious musicians, they bring so much to all of us. They are a whole different animal from what we have today in this world of technology. These guys had to "make" their own music and often used household items to create sounds. The Stones were performing in the 60's and they are still touring, filling huge stadiums and as good as ever.
You’re hitting my top 7 of songs here. Thank you for listening. I went into every love with wild horses because of this song and I had the best loves, now married 24 years and 4 beautiful children . Go into love like it’s your last but never mourn it.
Best rock and roll band ever IMO. Beautiful and timeless song. It sounds just as good and relevant today as it did when they wrote it over 50 years ago.
Nothing like seeing an older legendary band like the Rolling Stones giving an intimate, seemingly private performance of one of their songs from decades ago❤
The original was released inn 1971. We always heard itcwas written for Marianne Faithful because she was so devastated after their founding member, Brian Jones died. This is years later.
Appreciate your response and today learned something about generation z,interesting… I’m a baby boomer guy,at 73; I saw the Stones in ‘73 at MSG in New York..Stevie Wonder was the first act.. The Stones have so many songs and early albums.. You may go back and do some songs from their first 7-10 albums then let it bleed,Sticky Fingers and exile on Main Street..thank you
One of the most beautiful songs of THE ROLLING STONES... Song written by Mick Jagger and Keith Richards (we would have guessed...) Released in 1971, but this acoustic version video is much more recent, since Darryl Jones the bassist only joined The Rolling Stones in 1993, so... If anyone knows when this video was made... Thank you again man !!! MERCI ! (from France) for your good mood, your joy of life, your mischievous humor... You are a beautiful person. Take care of yourself! 🙏
This version is from the video/doc called “Totally Stripped”. I found two more on You Tube, Spyder and Fly, and Love in Vain. The videos were for the album Stripped which came out in 1993, during the whole “unplugged” period on MTV, 😂. LOL, I just returned from the Olympics in Paris,I had a blast, Merci ❤
You have taken enough music that you should watch the documentary, Muscle Shoals. It's about the Alabama studios where this song and other greats were created.
Beautiful song. The Stones can do anything and do it very well . There is a reason they are called the best rock and roll band ever…

Another classic from the Rolling Stones, who have so many great hits.
Undisputed fact, the Stones is the Worlds Greatest Rock Band. With Mick being the Worlds Greatest Front Man. Even at 81 years old. Respect!

'Angie' is even more a slow sweet classic from Mick and the guys.

I keep at least one guitar tuned to open G... I play this song a lot. So beautiful.
Let's do some living after we die. That line has stuck with me for over 40 years. Classic and timeless. Good reaction

Oops typo the date is 1995
Pretty cool live but I still prefer the studio album version it just has a fuller more yearning and emotional sound.
