As a parent I hope you never change your format. This is one of the few channels I don’t need to worry about the content and as family we can enjoy! Nice helicopter!
I second this motion! Thank you
I agree. My kids and I love this channel. Great role models!
Have y’all not seen cleetus?
@@ultimatedriversofmachinery - We watch him, but the content HD produces is exactly what my son loves! Can’t beat heavy equipment, and heavy trucks going off road for a rescue. HD even has a blackhawk! Its only going to be getting better.
Diddo!
So pumped for you brother. And the fact that you purchased it without checking if it will fit in your hangar is why you’re the best 😂
Now your journey to something this magnificent is continuing. You need to build that jet boat race track on your property
Wish they'd slow the roll sometimes....pause cam on some details please. :D

be good to see it land in the middle of the freedom factory , maybe a burn out or two haha
As a retired veteran and someone who has lots of flight hours in the Blackhawk I would like to thank you for what you are doing for the Veteran community. Would love to get back up in a Hawk someday 🖤
Maybe he will see this and let you get back into his!
From one veteran to another… thank you for your selfless service to the country.
I would love it if the lads called you for a lesson
Just watching your TH-cam channel makes me really love the American 🇺🇸 dream !
Thank you so much for your love for this country, & being so courageous. God bless our Veterans.
As a retired Blackhawk dude, I appreciate the love you guys put into the project. You did it well, and I think it is classy.
I had the honor of working on these here in Stratford CT. I would love to see this thing come back home for a visit. Since the military is phasing out these birds, maybe the civilian sector is an option.
As a former 67T Army Blackhawk CrewChief/Mechanic, that’s the most beautiful bird I’ve ever laid my eyes on. You did it JUSTICE!!!
I LOVE you guys!!!!😊
Ser is it possible to lift Monstermax 2 with Blackhawk?
Thank you for your Service!
Thank you for your service sir. My grandson got his assignment today. He's going to go learn to fly helicopters. 10 year commitment now vs 4 yr. He commissions in May. He's senior at college in emergency management, ROTC and National Guard. He's worked hard for this for sure. Thank you for keeping the crews safe and equipment in proper order.
Thank you for your service, former AME USN USS America 1967
It looks like the stabilizer is also the elevator - aka stabilator. How is that controlled? With the stick? Or on a switch like flaps on a plane? Or something else? Thanks!
Dave, I'm a Marine Corps veteran that's partially disabled and now a Police Officer in Georgia. You're an inspiration and a hero to me. I'm a die hard aviation fan, especially rotary wing. I could never afford that type of license so I'll live vicariously through you. Thanks for what you do sir.

Welcome home marine! What part of ga?
Imagine being this awesome! Sick Blackhawk Dave!
Everytime I've been in a Blackhawk, it was in a stressful or combat scenario. When you said you'd love to give veterans leisure rides to experience a Blackhawk in a calm environment I teared up. It made me realize that I've never been on a relaxing Blackhawk ride... That's a really respectable idea. I might never get the chance... but it's awesome to know people still think of us that way. So much respect for what you accomplish and how you motivate people to crush their goals.
Perfectly said!!!! ♡♡♡
Im with you on that one, I just retired after 27 years in, and i understand.
I say you be the first one to get a leisure ride honestly, thank you for your service btw
Man you picked the wrong mos, we had it amazing as Crewcheifs
Bro, for real. Never been on a Blackhawk, but last time I was on a Chinook, we had tracers going by lol.
Dude…you’re the best!
Buying a Black Hawk and using it to help Vets fly around in their favorite vehicle for a Leisure flight rather than a combat flight is just a beautiful thing.
I am currently a Fire Fighter in the USAF and being around Black Hawks and those who operate inside and out of it this video just feels so good. Thank you for doing what you do my friend. You’re a good man🤙🏼❤️
Its nice to see you giving back to Veterans. I'm a 24 year retired vet and after flying in black hawks during multiple combat missions in Iraq in 2005, I really don't think I would want to get back in one. Have fun with it....very Awesome machine. Thank you.. to all those Army pilots and gunners I flew with back then that got me back to the FOB safe on a daily. Amazing times, but glad the ride is over. GOD BLESS our Military!
Thank you for your service and for my freedom!
Thank you for all you've done for your country.
From one veteran to another… thank you for what you have done.
as a retired, private pilot, who once owned a TriPacer with 160hp Lyc & McAllen Gullwing Tips, I am just thoroughly awed at what you keep doing to help people... Managing to afford something like the Blackhawk, is an extraordinary achievement.
Umm... actually to me as a helicopter buff of over 30 years it is legendary! 😎
just looked up how much they cost..jeeze could buy a nice plane for that lol. why are they that expensive?

As a retired vet it meant a lot to see what you're doing with folks of different military experiences. we are blessed beyond measure. This is beyond cool guys, thanks.
As a former US Navy Aircrewman in the Navy's version of your BlackHawk, the SeaHawk, close to 2000 hours of flight time, I congratulate you on such an incredible, awesome, achievement. Your BlackHawk looks awesome. Word of caution, do not ignore that intermediate gear box, the chip indicator. Thank you for sharing. Be safe. Be well. G
@@fluke196c as a crewman, I was responsible for pre-flights (like the pilots), daily's and turn around inspections. The chip indicator at the intermediate gear box is magnetic, attracting metal shavings as the gearing started to deteriorate. Shavings can be seen before the sensor would be activated. I only bring this up because it was a real issue with the helicopter in my day (early 90's). It was a known issue with the helicopter and responsible for loss of life.
I flew Search and rescue Pavehawks in Alaska for 8 years. I get teared up to see this great helicopter saved and turned into such a beauty. Thanks from Moab!
I am glad I wasn't the only one who got emotional. When you crew these birds, they become a part of your soul. Not a day goes by I don't think of my time in the back seat. Thanks from Ogden!
Bro. Nothing but respect for doing veteran flights. I spent 6.5 years working on UH-60's on an Avionics field. I spent a lot of flight hours in Afghanistan in that helicopter. I'm sure whatever veterans you get involved will be more than happy to have a fun flight that is fun instead of being in hostile territory. So many of my flights were so memorable that I miss flying in helicopters every day. Good luck and thank you for doing what you do!
Thank you for all that you have done. Bless you and yours.
We need to get you on Dave’s Blackhawk !
Any Blackhawk flight with no one shooting at you has to be a step up!!! 👍
I was a paratrooper with the 82nd Airborne. we did a lot of jumps from the old Huey Helicopter so I have a special place in my heart for Helicopters. I was an Engineer in Vietnam.
Blackhawk aircrewman/helicopter hoist rescue specialist here. I have to say you took on one hell of project. I know how expensive these birds are to operate and maintain and kuddo's to you Heavy D. My Girl Friend's Dad was an MI Army National Guard CW4. He served a few more years than you! He held every rank from E-1 up to CW-4. Sadly, he passed away a couple of years ago. I am an E-5 from both the Active Air Force and MI Army National Guard. Thank You for your long service!
As a member of the military community, I love and support your idea of giving vets the opportunity to go back up on the Blackhawk! I been in a few myself over the years and there no ride like it. If you need and help or ideas please let me know, would love to help anyway that I can.

Pardon my ignorance but what does aviation-non-flying mean?
@@floorsinbower8612 Generally means that they will handle radio communication, operational monitoring and also perform supportive and supplemental tasks.. Hope that helps.
As an Army Blackhawk mech and crew chief, this is freaking amazing and i've never seen a Blackhawk so clean! As you learn to fly this aircraft, following good CRM is crucial to insuring you stay safe. Transitioning from single pilot to a dual pilot helicopter is a big jump so take it slow and learn the systems. Proper checklists are a must and you have to learn to share the cockpit and split responsibilities. Stay humble and continue to learn. I can't wait to see what you do with this in the future!

All veterans should be treated a lot better than most from many or for all I know every country treats their own home countries people are treating them. All the Vet's are the same in the respect of the people who are fighting and putting their lives on the line to defend their people are absolutely deserving of the respect and support when they come home and struggle with adapting to non-combat life we are supporting the addict's and criminal homeless who are not incapable of getting back on their feet with more support than the people who are not wanting to do the work for bettering themselves and I don't have no idea what I've said I was in the unwilling category as well and I still think that the countries military should be treated much more respectfully and assisting with the rehab and reintegration to home life to go through just the training military personal go through it is not something that most people would consider subjecting themselves to the servicemen and women are strong and deserve to be respected like hero's all the same enlistment is the 1st brave choice one can make!!!
What a machine. I am proud for you and your crew. Giving Vets a chance to ride is also so great. Thanks.

As a retired pilot and warrant officer in the Blackhawk, it’s awesome to see this great airframe being enjoyed by everyone. Keep us posted. I would love to fly in one again. I haven’t flown in one since being shot while flying in Kandy-land. Awesome!😊
I too would like to thank you for your love and respect for our military. I have a friend who has a Purple Heart from a few tours overseas in the Marines and I know how much he would love a ride and be able to tell his story.
Well this will be a different experience for you!
Congratulations on a phenomenal project and making your dream come true! And thank you for keeping the Veterans close to your heart! Semper Fidelis!
this is the coolest chopper ever pls have updates weekly anything and everything about the BlackHawk is super cool
The Black Hawk is the Huey of our generation, a bringer of troops, the deliverer of medication, the savior of civilians, the taker of lives and a taxi home. Iconic.
savior of civilians - ahahahahahah. amount of civilians mowed down by side machine guns of Black Hawk is over 9000
SAVIOR OF CIVILIANS, more like an inverted civilian mowing machine. Crimes against humanity if it was cast in metal. You're indoctrinated by the most powerful propaganda machine the world has ever seen mate.
@@ygryaznov well tbf its the savior of american civilians, the middle eastern ones are mowed down period
@@ygryaznov I think you picked the wrong comment section to try and make this argument.
@@DoctorDipshits nah its the correct one, civilian casualties by blackhawks are a quite the subject in recent wars
So proud of how far you've come! I'm sitting here trying to get my 15 year old snow blower fixed for the winter up here in Erie PA and you're getting to fly your Blackhawk that you fixed up! Kudos to you for being able to do what 99.9% of humans dream of being able to do!
You guys are what this world needs right now. The care , the love, the camaraderie and the passion it’s infectious amazing. You guys are truly and absolutely amazing people.
I think wat you doing with it is enough
I recently found your show. I enjoy the content. It's been years since I rode on a Blackhawk, Army Iraq '05. If you're ever in Tennessee again and have an extra seat, I wouldn't say no to a ride. I'm in Huntsville, AL. We have a lot of veterans here. I imagine you could fill the bird up quickly, plus it's beautiful here man. With Guntersville Lake and the Tennessee River, it might be worth a leisure flight just for yourselves. There are plenty of places to refuel in our area. Many vets struggle with day to day life. A ride on a helicopter could be a gamechanger for them mentally. Thanks for assisting veterans guys. You just gained a subscriber. Fly safe out there!
What a project, absolutely brilliant. Everyone that was involved in this project showed so much love for it! So cool
Hey I can’t fly I am a Parkinson’s patient and I don’t have a ride but if I could fly I would really love to learn how to fly and be apart of your organization best wishes for you and yours…..you guys have a great time and fly safe please ."…."".
My last army assignment was as a flight medic aboard the UH60A. It was the best job I ever had. I can't express to you how much I miss it. You are going to have amazing adventures and I hope, a fulfilling journey whilst living an amazing dream. At 51 years old, I'm a student pilot who's finally attaining that dream my 10 year old self had so many years ago. I've got a long way to go, but I'll get there. Blessing to you and your family... you're gonna have a blast in that thing ❤️🚁🇺🇸
