    The reason why yamaha adopted CP crank shafts is because of tire tension. Sa flat plane kasi the more higher RPM the more din na nawawala ang tension time ng rear tire sa race track dahil sa uniformity ng firing order, say mag draw tayo ng circle at hatiin sa dalawa, yung dulo ng line is yan bali ang tulak ng engine sa tire at yung malaking agwat na 180° is yan yung tension time ng gulong sa pag kapit sa track. Kung itataas na naman ang rpm nag mumultiply yung tulak ng piston from 2 to 4-6-8-16 and so on bali kung mag draw ka ng circle at i divide sa 32 lines evenly sobrang liit na ng gaps para sa tension time para ang gulong kakapit sa track kaya nag reresult sya ng grip loss kumbaga nawawalan ng kapit yung gulong sa track na nag cacause ng disgrasya kaya most of the GP bikes uses V4 engine with irregular firing order at ang Yamaha which is CP4(Patented kaya di pwedeng i kopya) para lang maka iwas sa tension loss dahil kahit mataas na ang RPM may tension time pa na maiibibigay ang engine sa gulong sa pagkapit ng track at yan yung may 270° bago mag fire. Ang Kawasaki nag out na sila sa GP dahil ayaw nila mag adopt sa irregular firing order kaya palagi silang natatalo ng V4 at CP4 dahil di sila makahabol sa cornering at higher speed dahil sa even firing order, ang nag papatayan nga sa moto GP lalo na sa cornering ay si Valentino Rossi(YZR-M1 CP4) at Marc Marquez(RC213V-V4 90°).

      When i hear the RC213V. Parang monster ang tunog. I found out that irregular firing is the top choice for most of the MotoGP bikes. 👍👍

    Simple summary sa power, dahil sa configuration ni flatplane na walang nahuhuli, ibig sabihin mas kaya niya dalhin ang motor to higer power outputs meaning higer topspeed pero and disadvantage nya is mahuhuli siya sa arangkada kumpara sa v4 at crossplane which yun ang forte. Kaya nag stick ang yamaha sa crossplane is gawa ng acceleration kasi sa karera is mas madalas umaarangkada ang motor kesa nag totopspeed

      magkakatalo din yan sa gearing ratio ng transmission at cam shafts, nakaka top speed din ng 300kph yung r1 just like other flatplane 1000cc bikes

    Boss correction lang, year 2004 inimbento ng yamaha ang crossplane crank at una itong nilabas sa Yzr-m1 motogp racer nila(which is gamit ni rossi). It is the yamaha yzf-r1 street bike na unang lumabas na may crossplane crank noong 2009(before nun flatplane ang gamit neto). Additional fact din po, kasama si valentino rossi sa nag imbento ng crossplane crank at nakipag cooperate sya sa mga engineers ng yamaha ksi ang advantage neto is para magaya ang power delivery ng mga v-style engines katulad ng honda rc211v na v5 engine( known eto sa mas malakas na corner exit, acceleration at torque delivery) at alam nya na eto ang magiging susi upang matapatan at matalo nya ang honda sa motoGp championship. Eto ang rason kaya sa ngayon lahat ng race bikes sa MotoGp ay gumagamit ng either V4 (honda, ducati, aprilia at KTM) or Crossplane crank inline 4 (yamaha at suzuki). At kalaunan, lumabas eto sa r1 at sa mt series ng yamaha( hence they were called master of torque). More power sa channel mo cheers!

    The reason kung bakit crossplane config ang gamit nang yama is that to gain advantage sa cornering stability at palabas nang turn..... Suffice to say nalang na screamer type engines like sa kawasaki and others mas di sila nakakapag accelerate nang kasing lakas nang big bang type engines. Tho yamaha r1 is not a true big bang engine, its power pulse is similar to one thus gaining more advantage sa corners and acceleration from corners.

    Pinaliwanag n yan sa MotoGP kaya kilala ang yamaha sa cornering speed dahil sa crossplane firing pattern ibig sbhn more grip ang naki create nito dahil umuiiksi ang gap sa tire tension sa ganyang pattern kase meron tulak bawat cycle. Pero hindi lng nmn yzf-M1 ang cross plane yung rc212v ni Marc Marquez ii cross plane din un kaso v4 naman that was the most dominant bike before arangkada at at top speed kumakana that was the only bike that can drag Ducati on the straight and can match up the cornering speed of Yamaha. Pero nun 2016 masyado na nag excell ang Ducati with their rider Andrea dovisioso Marc Marquez requested more top speed to match dovi on the straight that was the time Marc Marquez dominated the MotoGP with rc213v 2016,2017,2018,2019 Marc Marquez champion jan from cross plane ginawa nila itong flatplane to gain more top speed pero the bike was more harder to ride kase nag lost grip na. Mula nun nawala si Marc downfall n ng honda yun kase walang ibang kaya sakyan ang rc213v dahil hnd ito friendly bike like rc212v. Ok yung R1 dati pero ngayon wala na halos wala n gusto pumirma sa yamaha dahil yung bike nila has inability to overtake in straight line yan yung nightmare ni quartararo at morbidelli solo buhat nlng si Fabio naun pero paalis narin. Pinakabatayan nila now dpt mag catch up sila sa Ducati kahit dumikit man lng kase halimaw talaga Ducati sa straight sa kanilang desmodromic technology.
    Inline 4 superb in acceleration (yamaha, Suzuki, Kawasaki)
    V4 superb in straight line (honda, Ducati,aprillia, KTM)
    Firing pattern
    (Crossplane)creates more tire grip and stability on corners.
    (Flatplane) gain more horsepower but hard to corner.
    Skills nlng talaga ng riders paano nila magagamit bawat advantages nila with their bikes. Like Marc Marquez (honda) Andrea dovisioso (Ducati) iba ung cornering style nila they brake super late and slide Thier rear tire to maximize the bikes performance while the infamous Yamaha riders Jorge Lorenzo and Fabio quartararo squeeze the throttle to maximize the bikes superb acceleration plus they have better grip. Sa karera it's 50%riders skills,50% bike and crew response sa need ng rider

      Tama ka naman dyan boss. Pero di padin kumbinsido si Quartararo nung Valencia test gamit ang 2023 M1. Sagot naman ng yamaha madami pa silang gagawin para maimprove ito so,Abangan nalang naten sa winter test kung talagang lumakas ba sa straight ang m1

    Boss ang pinag kaiba ng cross plane pag dating sa 6speed mabilis kasi yung angle ng pag hatak kunti ang angle kaya mas madali umikot ang flatplane jaso sa unang arangkada midyo maiiwan si R1 pero pag nka 5 and 6 gear na npakabilis, si flat plane nman yung dalawang pisto mag kasabay ang equivalent nya malakas sya sa low gear from 1 to 4 gear kaso nman kapag nasa high speed pag 5 to 6 gear magkakaroon ng pigil ang takbo kasi may delay si flat kailangan nya umikot muna ng 180 samantala si cross 90 mas maiksi yung ikot hahatakin nman ng isang piston kaya sa 90 nkabalik na samantala si 180 hindi pa kailangan nya makompleto ang 180°..

    Sa alam ko pag ilagay ang crankshaft sa sahig flatplane flat yung mga journal sa main pin. Yung crossplane pag lagay sa sahig nakatayo yung journal pin sa main bearing common ito sa V config na engine.

    mas mataas ang torque ng r1 kc saktong nasa 90° combustion.. mas malakas ang arangkada at corner exit sa track..
    imagine nalang pag nag pihit ka ng turnilyo gamit ang wrench, db sa 90° mo pinoposisyon ang wrech pag mag pipihit ka ng turnilyo kc dun mo napipihit ng madali yung turniyo... parang ganun lng din yan..

    Sa crossplane lamang sa torque pero pag sa flatplane lalamang na sa topspeed. mas the best parin talaga flatplane pero sa V4 dun na magkakatalo.
