What to do if the patient has deep bite but also enough overjet that doesn’t permit the use of anterior bite turbo?.?.

    Hello Dr,
Which NITI wire do you need to use, biggest rectangular for the slot or 014 or 016 round NiTi wire while posterior teeth erupt? Thank you

Usual AW sequence. So typically going 014>016>018niti, etc. Then once COS is relatively flat can move into finishing AW for the case.

doc how can I avoid breakage of the anterior composite buildup? this problem occurs a lot with me and its very annoying

Assuming good bonding protocols and the pt is not a severe clencher/bruxer, would say to make sure you are placing the BUs incrementally. Do not bulk fill the BUs as they are more prone to breakage this way. If the pt is a bruxer there can be more wear/breakage. It is even worse with posterior BUs than with anterior so those cases can be more challenging.

Is it critical that the 2nd molars are bonded? I often don't bracket them unless they need correction...will they just supra erupt themselves?
2nd question: if it's a high angle case and you don't want to extrude the posteriors, is this technique inappropriate?

In a deep bite case it can help speed up correction if you tube the 2nd molars. One of the key factors is setting the BU height at the proper level (discussed in video). If this is done even if the 2nd molars erupted it wouldn't matter since would still have the proper amount of anterior dental OB.
If you have a high angle case without a deep bite you would not want to place anterior BUs. You may or may not need to place 2nd molar BUs. There is more information on that topic in This Video: th-cam.com/video/IZ58LhdcKzw/w-d-xo.html
