for anyone wondering, you dont have to get mods in order to get Yasha, it just makes it easier. Yasha, and all the other twitch 'exclusives' are available to be found in Dogtown as of update 2.1, farmable out of the air drops that spawn around the district, and potentially can be bought form Harlod the black market dealer, also in Dogtown. As for replacements, the only other smart sniper, the Ashura, is a commonly found version of the iconic Yasha, and works almost the exact same. The biggest difference being the common varient actually does MORE damage and a further effective range, at the cost of a .1 sec slower reload, .6 less handling and no modification slots. And Genjiroh is stupid easy to get as soon as you can explore the whole of night city
I think a cool build theme would be a "Monk" martial artist. A fast stealth gorilla arms build, maybe with some quick hacks. Night City does have a big focus on Buddhism
Genjiroh is also available during the Play it Safe MQ (the parade to get to Hanako), it's in a side path just after Johnny's rant about Adam Smasher, behind a locked door that can be hacked, used tech skill or just the code (it's the numbers on the walls that's the code). In Dogtown for alternatives there's also the Crimestopper (loot it from the DA's suitcase during the final set of gigs given by Mr Hands), Ogou (loot it from the main robot protecting the runner in Treating Symptoms gig, which is available as soon as you are in Dogtown proper) and Kappa X-MOD2 (looted from behind a grate with 10 Body after the Spy in the Jungle gig, note that with 4 body equipping legendary gorilla arms will get you to 10). As for the Yasha, honestly just use a regular Ashura, which as 60 points higher base damage and higher accuracy, the Yasha's only benefit other than being an X-MOD2 is slightly faster reload (.1 second specifically) and slightly better handling, which is useless for a single shot sniper rifle. Instead aim to get the Headhopper special mod to put in a regular Ashura (look at weapon vendors after every 24h reset), it adds 20 % higher headshot damage. Chitin is a terrible choice for cybernetics for this character, since its main benefit is the massive regeneration, which you get from having a high Body stat. OTOH, this character really should have the Deep-Field Visual Interface instead of the Visual Cortex, which would make crits near guaranteed with that rifle, and your Cool stat buffs it to give +20 % crit damage. Maybe swap the Oracle for Cockatrice while at it to further guarantee tons of crits. Downgrade the Painducer (which is more useful than the Chitin, but again works better with high Body Adrenaline based builds) and the Chitin for Optic Camo (which you can then use to disengage rapidly with the Relic perks even when detected after firing the Ashura, letting you reposition for another shot) and either Countershell (plays nicely into the other mitigation gear, and auto-activates during overclock when spending health) or Cogito Lattice (almost as much armor as Chitin, for much less cost, as long as you are dumping your RAM the way you are likely going to anyway). Clutch Padding is near useless with a smart weapon based character (use it for heavy automatic based characters), swap that for Biomonitor and make sure you get the Borrowed Time perk for infinite overclock as long as you are dropping enemies frequently. Microgenerator is also of dubious use for a character based on single shots, since it scales by number of bullets reloaded, and you're reloading just 1 most of the time. Swapping Launcher (which you don't need because your rifle is a better launcher, and if you do at least one ending as soon as available you get Adam Smasher's smart shotgun which is actually a multi-rocket launcher in 2.0) for Monowire and getting the perks for that would actually work really well for this build, especially since the Paraline deck boosts it pretty well, giving you a finisher move for 1 perk point that can rapidly get back RAM and health when you need it up close, and works really nicely with the general aesthetic. Otherwise really nice build and character here, tempted to give it a go, and love your presentation as always, honestly every video I'm more impressed with your video editing skills than anything else!
This sniper cant be obtained without twitch this sniper has a non iconic variant but because non iconic weapons cant be upgraded maybe its better to use something else
That depends, If you are playing on PC you can use mods to place it in your inventory no twitch rewards needed. Getting it this way was actually quickly mentioned in the video.
You can find a MK5++ Ashura easily around the game at levels 50+, the main issue is finding one with two free upgrade slots. Ashura deals more damage than Yasha, who's only benefit other than being a XMOD2 (which allows you to replace mods on it) is a tiny bit faster reload, and better handling, which is useless for a single-shot sniper rifle. And yes, all of the Amazon Prime and Twitch exclusive guns was added to the Dogtown airdrops, the only difference is you have to find them by hitting up tons of airdrops, rather than just look in your stash.
@@SacremasNo, not all the exclusives were added to the Dogtown drops. Yasha, for one. No, you don't need Yasha; Ashura will work just fine, though you have to find a level 5++ (good luck; no vendors sell them at that level). But you can level up a Yasha to 5++ with materials, like any Iconic. It's like an XMOD2 where you get to mod slots that you can add and remove mods from at anytime, so you can upgrade it as you get more useful ones.
Great creative build ✅️ Unique idea to narrate a build? ✅️ Smooth video editing?? ✅️ Okay, you just earned yourself another subscriber 😊 Before 2.0 i played a nomad tech sniper engineer.. but now a nomad using quickhacks?? 🤔
i have one question how are you insta locking on targets, is it some mod(weapon) or a game mod or is it just edited like that ? but now that i think about it maybe im just too low level so i dont have those passive skills
The in-game version of the sniper works just fine, but for added flavor, I downloaded the Blackwall version! www.nexusmods.com/cyberpunk2077/mods/14295
I get what you're saying, but to be fair theirs thousands of build videos on similar builds on net snipers and other builds, and this guy is one of the very few that does full modded build's for people on the 1000th playthrough and mods keep it interesting, so I get the frustration cause pc's that can even run cyberpunk on good quality are expensive asf. id say follow the builds cyberware and perks to a tea and run "overwatch" and the "genjirou" or other smart vanilla weapons you can run, would basically be the same build besides blackwall. if you really wanted the blackwall shit cause to be fair its goated, you can get the cyberdeck through phantom liberty which is fun asf to use just make sure you dont accidentally craft the SMG
Got much amusement out of how getting that Twitch exclusive sniper rifle was worked into the story and not just 'use mods to get it'.

My fav way to play the game! Much appreciated!
I am new to cyberpunk but i love your build series. Thanks!

I actually just look it up online and this sniper can drop randomly from the air drops in dog town in 2.1

@@animejunkie4373 If they do, I've never seen one, and I have over 1000 hours in the game
You should do like a neo-noir detective❤just a thought🫶
Im using this on my streetkid build...
Could you do a Judge Dredd build next???
How’d you manage to get the suits to work? I have the mod downloaded but nothing pops up.

Thanks for the sub! ❤️
@Dalfang you definitely earned it...
This is so epic, but unfortunately, I'd never be able to do it since I don't own a PC
Could you make a netrunner mantis build? You are the best though
can I do this on a console?? what sniper should I use am on console
i have one question how are you insta locking on targets, is it some mod(weapon) or a game mod or is it just edited like that ?

One of the smart weapons perks allow you to do this. Basically just overclock your cyberdeck and all smart weapons lock on instantly.
Do you use any mods on the sniper?
The in-game version of the sniper works just fine, but for added flavor, I downloaded the Blackwall version! www.nexusmods.com/cyberpunk2077/mods/14295
This is why I don't make your build you always use mod not everyone has the money to get a game PC
