What an incredible way to honor the legacy of the heroes who all sacrificed so much for the freedom we often take for granted 🇺🇸 My great-grandpa was a paratrooper at Normandy-he would jump out of planes (on *skis)* behind enemy lines. I only got to meet him a few times, but hearing the stories of his service has been really inspiring. Thanks for reminding me of those stories... and it's so cool you got to feature actual veterans in it!
My great grandpa fought in the Second World War for the Polish but after they got taken over and the Germans started to invade Russia he was drafted into the soviet army. He got captured in 1944 was sent to a P.O.W camp escaped and later on took part in the march to Berlin. Sadly, I only got to meet him once or twice but my dad would tell me stories about him fighting in the war. 🇵🇱
My great grandfather was one of 5 boys in his family to fight in WW2 at the same time. He served in the Philippines, one served in North Africa and later took part in the invasion of Sicily, another fought somewhere else in the Pacific, and the remaining two fought in France and Germany. My great grandfather's brother was captured by the SS after half his unit was killed in December 1944. He was marched for weeks without food or water, and was beaten by guards. At one prison camp, he was saved by a Wermacht captain who bought food for the allied prisoners. All five of them returned home.
I'm going to be honest. At first, I was kind of worried that historical accuracy would not be it it important in this video because there is a slight error in the thumbnail (the prominent American soldiers holding a German gun and that also happens throughout the video quite often) which is not a big deal but having the actual veterans to replicate actual stories. Just made this video so good
I see many of our great-grandfathers fought in WWII, mine was stationed in Papua New Guinea! Thanks for everyone who served and people serving now, you make the country a better place!
Please share your family story from WW2 in this comment thread! (Yes I know the weapons are inaccurate, not a expert so you don't have to tell me 😂) This was a deep and meaningful video for me to create so I hope you enjoy. This was an outstanding video Logan, World War II is also a big part of British history and I can tell you put a lot of thought into making this. Respect. 🇺🇸🇬🇧
I love seeing ww2 veterans and I whould love to talk to one happy 100 John and I hope all remaining veterans live a long life and also thank you for your service
Great video! This was a great way to be both entertaining and educational on this subject. It’s also awesome that these heroes will have their stories heard by thousands of people who otherwise wouldn’t have
There are so many inaccuracies in this video like how so many Americans are useing the wrong weapons and how german tanks that weren't even made yet but used during the wrong timeline
my great grandpa severed in ww2 as a artillery unit and a general) my other great grandpa severed in ww2 as a fighter pilot and had a epic battle with another plane and shot down and taken as a prisoner but survived) those people were in my family
I just need to say that these hero’s are amazing and realise superhero’s who saved us all thank you to them. And I love these sets you made and happy 100 B Day John!
He got the guns wrong and the soldiers such as at 3:53 he turned german naval soldiers on a American vessel and gave a American soldier at 1:32 a soviet sub machine gun although he tried his best it was unaccurate to the real battles the d day and sea battle were good it’s just the weapons such as that soviet smg
Incredible video, your best and most meaningful one yet! Also, I’ve been wanting to create some WWII Mocs for a while now, where did you primarily get the figures from? Ive had my eye on united bricks, but not sure if there’s a better place to get them
Banger video, Logan- but more importantly, I love the message behind it. Two of my great uncles served for the United States and fought in North Africa during World War II.
my great grandpa was a flight mecaink in ww2 at a base in alaska and somebody in my family was a famous gunner on a boat he was killed in action saddly by a kamikazie ( i dont know his name though) (they both are american) ive been a fan since 30k
1:36 I don’t mean to be that guy but the 3rd is wielding a Panzerfaust, which is a German anti tank weapon, and as a history nerd I get triggered by this
My great grandfather was a bombardier in a Boeing B-29 Superfortress. He never saw combat. The only thing of his we still own is his U.S. Army Air Corps formal jacket
My great grandpa was in ww2. He helped drop the bombs on Japan. He lived to be 101 and died 2022. I had met him a lot in my live. It was very devastating to hear that he had pasted. He developed dementia at the age of 85/90 I forget which age. Sometimes he would think he was still fighting during the war. We would ask questions like “were did I put my helmet”. When he was about to pass he would see people that weren’t there. Rest In Peace. I miss you.
i never knew my great grandpa so i have no idea if he fought in ww2 but i know none of my grandparents or parents served but may god bless those who are still around. i just subscribed and i already love it keep up the job
If my great grandpa John Dale was still alive you should have done his story. He was at Wake island when it was captured and shot down the first Japanese ship that attacked the island. He became a pow and eventually won a Purple Heart for it
The bravery and dedication these soldiers had was incredible. I admire the soldiers ability to keep persevering in these times. They sacrificed their lives to fight the Axis power, and they defeated them. Even though i don’t live in the US, god bless these soldiers

Awesome vid Studs! Loved all of the MOCs and the individual veteran stories
My grandpa fought in the Vietnam War he got 2 purple Hearts and still lives to this day
YES, YES, YES. A epic video, what a great way to honor everyone who fought in this war.
I love the accurate builds that still respected the veterans well. Hearing they stories was very interesting and I can’t imagine the horrors they saw
The mocks are great but there’s just to many inaccuracies like at least try to use the right weapons.
Meaningful and awesome video
I like how you recreated scenes based on personal accounts
I was enjoying this video up until 1:40 when he gave the American troops a panzerschreck and put a MP40 on the back of the Sherman.
Yep
shhh, he’s a good youTuber

Cool but a lot of inaccuracies like a American having a STG44 in 1942.
