OR...how about the Battle of the Bulge? You could display that famous story of the American commander saying, "NUTS!"
The amount of creativity you have to recreate D day is so astounding. I would love to see recreations of battles against the Japanese in the jungles of the pacific.

I'd honestly be interested in seeing some more tank battles, I know there were a lot. Plus, you needed infantry to help support the tanks to avoid them swarming the tank with bombs. I don't know any named battles, but I know there are some out there. I just need to do more research.
The Battle of the Bulge (in the Ardennes forest) had the most US vs. German tank engagements. Overall, the largest tank battle of WWII was the Battle of Kursk, between the Germans and the Soviet Union. Hope this helps!
