Daniel Price, that's wrong. They don't hate the players. They are actually one of the most player dependant games I've ever seen. They just have to balance the game. Try to satisfy the player. If the eels could give off an electrical charge, I think it'd be cool. But like most awesome creatures they're probably some kind of punishment. (Exe. Massive food drain, terrible health, some kind of fueling system!) Lots of creatures could have cool abilities! If you really want the game devs to change something, tell them on the twitter. If people like the idea Wildcard will no doubt do something.
I still remember my baryonyx breeding fiasco. The server I was on was having an event , where the breeding and maturation times were basically non existent which allowed for constant breeding. But I had no idea that this event was happening so my 2 wandering baryonyx created a horde....said horde was so big it covered the entirety of my base as well as covering the entire area surrounding it. I had accidentally created Lag central.....it was a living hell! Lmao

I've been having memory crashes recently as well, I have a crappy pc so I though that was it, but if syntac with his God level pc crashes because of memory then I guess it must be a problem

You could put all the eels in the pen on passive and unclaim all of them. Then you leave the tribe and claim all of them, put them on aggressive, and then join your old tribe again. The only downside is, is that you cant check on them
Unclaim the eels, leave them on passive, make a hole in the eel pen, leave the tribe, claim the eels, get them in the pen, set them to aggressive, then leave the new tribe and join the normal one, no alliances required

Maybe putting them in a cage on something then making them attack from a short distance?
There's a bug on ark where Dino's don't eat from a trough sometimes especially if there are a lot of Dinos around. It used to happen to me a lot on Ps4
You do know you can claim them put them on wondering aggressive then and then panicking the things I give them just unclaimed them drop them in and done and you can always put the saddles on them when you want to move them around. Etc. Goes with the eels clean them look at them I'm wondering aggressive
