Reminds me of one incidence when 'Sayagyi Uba Kin' denied his Blessings & Merits to 'Sathya Narayan Goenka' after the later came to teach Dhamma in India,
This was actually an examination to test 'Sathya Narayan Goenka', whether he was guided by Blind Faith back in his mother land, or whether he was practicing the actual teachings of dhamma by sharing Truth and Only Truth, or merely acting based on what his teacher said so!
