Good a video I have same codes in my 04 corolla 😢 I replaced 2 times up and down oxygen sensors. And another parts a d still aparear the same codes maybe this is the latest part I. Need to replaced
I got similar codes on my 07 Prius My understanding there is one evap solenoid under hood rh side one evap solenoid top of fuel tank That said Sometimes there are issues created by others workmanship or lack thereof Am guessing that my issue was not 🚫 solenoids however something else
Thank you for posting this... my 2001 Lexus ES300 has a P0442 error code stored on the computer but no check engine light is on. I reset the codes, and replaced a cracked EVAP hose. Hopefully the P0442 code goes away. I also get a lot of white steam from the exhaust on cold start, only for the first 25 seconds. Do you think an EVAP hose leak would cause this?
I have check engine light on and comes up with p0441(EVAP System Incorrect Purge Flow) and p0455( EVAP System Leak Detected large leak). I did notice in last few weeks that car's milage had dropped and could smell fuel vapor inside the car if I keep it running (not driving) for few minutes. Smell would go away once I start driving. Could a bad gas cap be causing above issues? I was thinking to start with that solution. Appreciate the help. Thanks in advance!
Buddy For large leak it cannot be gas cap. You have to do a smoke test to find the leak. If you don't have smoke machine then you have to take it to your machenic to do a leak test. Good luck.
You applying the smoke to the wrong place. Right next to where you plugged it in ..see the GREEN cap ? open that and remove the left hand thread schrader valve and plug the smoke in there. That's what it's for.
I know exactly what you are talking and I know but what you didn't know is my after market smoke tool doesn't have fitting cap so it useless to do the way you talk about. There is no right or wrong way to do smoke test as long you can find a leak and repair it that all.
Did it pass inspection? MY V6 Camry has P1130 thus replaced air fuel ratio sensor. Now check engine light come on and off every 50 miles cycles. When check light comes off, it cleared all monitor status except EV (EVAP). Debating on getting a smoke tester or just the Vacuum Switching Valve. Remove the gas cap, no P0441 - just the same P1130, strange.
When the light came off (no light) pass all emissions except won't clear EV, still flashing. After about 50 miles engine light will come back on. Will it pass if no light but only EV flashing?
Hi... I can not connect with ecu on my 2005 Toyota Corolla Altis 1.8... when it try to connect to ecu the abs light start blinking... Each and every time... I tried different odb 2 devices and many apps on mobile device too... And same devices connect with my 2010 Toyota Corolla 1.3 very easy... Will you help me plz
I'm not sure i my answer can help you but try to check any broken fuse. Some time broken fuse in the fuse box can cause obd2 can't read it. Good luck on your repair.
Nice work straight to the point, no b.s.

Cross finger good luck and thanks for stop by
If it's really cold, then yes, it's normal for white smoke to come out of the exhaust since more fuel is needed to start the engine.
What is the name of the sensor you replaced? Tnx and great video
Vacuum Switching Valve - VSV

Which gas is better for 2007 corolla 87 or 89?
Anything higher is better but 87 is good enough for that car
What is the name if the smoking machine?
No name of it. Just home made smoke machine

Yes it pass
As long you don't have engine light and all the emissions complete then you shouldn't have no problem to pass the emission test.
When the light came off (no light) pass all emissions except won't clear EV, still flashing. After about 50 miles engine light will come back on. Will it pass if no light but only EV flashing?
