Hey Radha my forefathers were also brought from India to fiji to work on the sugar cane plantation under the modern slavery system known as indenture labour system or girmit. Do you still follow indian culture, speak one of the indian languages most famous hindi or the culture tradition and the language has been lost. Would like to know more about the latest generation of those girmitiyas
