That doesn't mean climate change isn't real and isn't caused by humanity putting CO2 & other gases into the atmosphere. The Bible makes it very clear that humanity is not able to govern itself righteously enough to prevent total destruction of the Earth. The tribulation would end with no flesh on the Earth, if it were not shortened. I think the tribulation is less than 4 years away, as the man of lawlessness takes his throne in mystery Babylon very soon. The Earth will still be very livable after these nations are destroyed and should improve over the 1,000 years. Fossil fuels are also not as cheap as renewables at this point, so I don't know why there is an argument against them to keep the old atmosphere-polluting stuff.
While this is undoubtedly true, what we don’t know is when the earth will cease to “remain”. We don’t know if the changes happening now are a step in that process. Bottom line is we have instructions from God to be good stewards of his creation but the bigger issue is not prolonging the physical planet, it is being sure we are ready for eternity. There is as much evidence for no climate change as there is for climate change. We don't hear about the other story because of globalists agendas not wanting the full story to come out. Climate change is a weird thing. Each year there are four climate changes, winter, spring, summer and autumn. Those changes have been occurring since at least the flood of Noah. Also, the jet stream causes changes by bringing cold farther south or warmer temperatures farther north. I kind of think that is climate change. When summer in Texas, it gets quite hot…unless the jet stream moves south, and then the heat isn’t so bad. Or the autumn in Colorado can be very cold bringing snow earlier or stay warmer all the way to the first of the year. I’ve lived in both places, for many years each, and I’ve experienced it all. Political climate change is nothing more than, it’s all about the money!

I don't usually disagree, BUT the Bible doesn't "disprove" climate change. It just proves we can't "destroy" this world through climate change or any other means that go against God's plan. HOWEVER that doesn't mean we don't have an obligation as stewards to take good care of this planet and the creatures on it. Then justify our neglect and indifference toward them by saying "it doesn't matter, we can't break it and God's guna fix it in the end anyway so do as you please". When I was young we were going to have an ice age. Then they tried to scare us with global warming. All the Coastal cities were supposed to be flooding years ago. Interesting ideas. One of the other arguments I have heard over the years is that God gave humans the responsibility to care for this world but we haven't done a good job. The changing weather with natural disasters is evidence of that. Animals becoming extinct is another proof. Therefore it is argued that we humans need to change our habits to preserve this world for future generations, like the race to phase out fossil fuels to 'de-carbonize' industrial economies.
The Bible doesn't argue against the existence of climate change. In fact, it teaches us-through its lessons-not to be gluttons or live in excess, unlike the materialistic lifestyle that some Americans promote. Mark must have been up to something fun this Christmas😂
Of course we should take care of the earth, don't over pollute it. Recycle, reuse, reduce is key. But some want to take it to the EXTREME such as PETA, tree huggers, Mother Earth worshippers etc. Vegans don't want to eat meat FINE that's up to them, but I HATE when they try to force me & others to stop eating meat. How long have we heard about pollutants causing cancer? Build on your relationship with Christ and let the Holy Spirit guide you on determining what is right and wrong. Climate change is the result of us not doing the things we should do in order to take care of the land the Lord gave us. If we put things that we know are harmful into our water, then that act of wrong (sin) will have consequences. We need to do better about taking care of the earth. It's not all about money. The fact of the matter is that the world revolves around money, BUT the Kingdom we should focus on does not. Politics is very divisive and has crept into our Church. Beware of this. The time where individuals can openly vote for someone unrepented who has openly mocked Christianity is something to be concerned about. It's not even necessary to say a name, but to hold a Bible upside down and try to appeal to believers for the sake of votes/support is just wrong. The good book shows us how leaders who don't follow God lead their people to destruction. And yes, God does take our mistakes and finds a way to bless us regardless. That is through his grace and mercy. But we are never instructed to sin or follow sin for this purpose. It is just ridiculous. Let's truly stand up for Christ and what he stands for, without letting political views distort the true meaning.

Mark, you say that the condemned world that is suffering will be restored and the condemnation removed. Where does it say that in the Bible? In Psalm 102:25-27 it says earth and heaven were created by God but that they will perish, they will wear out like a garment. Isaiah 51:6 says the heavens will vanish like smoke and the earth will wear out like a garment. Hebrews 1:10-12 says the same, so does Jesus say this in Matthew 24:35. 2 Peter 3:10-14 says it all will be destroyed by fire and there will be a new earth and a new heaven. The earth is under the condemnation just as our bodies are. Getting old and wearing out. The Bible doesn't say that when Jesus restores all it will be using the old earth and our old bodies. No, it says there will be a new earth, a new heaven and a new body. There is change and has always been change. Before Noah and the flood things with the earth were different than now. People lived longer than now. There is change and it is because of sin and the condemnation for sure, but the Bible says it will all be new not restored. As a Christian Pastor this is dangerous preaching, an anathema to God. The Hebrew of ‘dominion’ mentioned in Genesis is best translated ‘protect’. God saw that what he made was ‘good’, sure there was the fall and we look forward to a new heaven and earth, but whilst we wait we need to look after this Earth. Mark preached a really good sermon recently on caring for our grandkids, the best thing we can do for them is care for this Earth as we wait upon the coming of our Lord Jesus. I fear Mark is following the teaching of Trump, Musk and not Jesus with every new message he gives.

There is as much evidence for no climate change as there is for climate change. We don't hear about the other story because of globalists agendas not wanting the full story to come out. Climate change is a weird thing. Each year there are four climate changes, winter, spring, summer and autumn. Those changes have been occurring since at least the flood of Noah. Also, the jet stream causes changes by bringing cold farther south or warmer temperatures farther north. I kind of think that is climate change. When summer in Texas, it gets quite hot…unless the jet stream moves south, and then the heat isn’t so bad. Or the autumn in Colorado can be very cold bringing snow earlier or stay warmer all the way to the first of the year. I’ve lived in both places, for many years each, and I’ve experienced it all. Political climate change is nothing more than, it’s all about the money!

I don't usually disagree, BUT the Bible doesn't "disprove" climate change. It just proves we can't "destroy" this world through climate change or any other means that go against God's plan. HOWEVER that doesn't mean we don't have an obligation as stewards to take good care of this planet and the creatures on it. Then justify our neglect and indifference toward them by saying "it doesn't matter, we can't break it and God's guna fix it in the end anyway so do as you please". When I was young we were going to have an ice age. Then they tried to scare us with global warming. All the Coastal cities were supposed to be flooding years ago. One of the other arguments I have heard over the years is that God gave humans the responsibility to care for this world but we haven't done a good job. The changing weather with natural disasters is evidence of that. Animals becoming extinct is another proof. Therefore it is argued that we humans need to change our habits to preserve this world for future generations, like the race to phase out fossil fuels to 'de-carbonize' industrial economies.
The Bible doesn't argue against the existence of climate change. In fact, it teaches us-through its lessons-not to be gluttons or live in excess, unlike the materialistic lifestyle that some Americans promote. Mark must have been up to something fun this Christmas😂
This all is true, but I still believe stewardship is important.
Of course we should take care of the earth, don't over pollute it. Recycle, reuse, reduce is key. But some want to take it to the EXTREME such as PETA, tree huggers, Mother Earth worshippers etc. Vegans don't want to eat meat FINE that's up to them, but I HATE when they try to force me & others to stop eating meat. Also HATE when they try to force electric cars on everyone & stop all use of paper forms etc. We still using electric to do "paperwork" on tablets & computers which also pollutes the earth so is that really making much of a difference?

We should take care of the earth of course. But not take it to the EXTREME like many do such as PETA, Earth dayers, those who worship Giai "Mother Earth" all the tree huggers, etc.
At some point we will all stand up for Christ, our Savior and Lord and learn to leave our thoughts out of it (whether political or not). We are blessed to learn. To learn what is harmful to us and our environment. We don't go around drinking polluted water, because we know the consequences. Remember Flint, Michigan? How long have we heard about pollutants causing cancer? Build on your relationship with Christ and let the Holy Spirit guide you on determining what is right and wrong. Climate change is the result of us not doing the things we should do in order to take care of the land the Lord gave us. If we put things that we know are harmful into our water, then that act of wrong (sin) will have consequences. We need to do better about taking care of the earth. It's not all about money. The fact of the matter is that the world revolves around money, BUT the Kingdom we should focus on does not. Politics is very divisive and has crept into our Church. Beware of this. The time where individuals can openly vote for someone unrepented who has openly mocked Christianity is something to be concerned about. It's not even necessary to say a name, but to hold a Bible upside down and try to appeal to believers for the sake of votes/support is just wrong. The good book shows us how leaders who don't follow God lead their people to destruction. And yes, God does take our mistakes and finds a way to bless us regardless. That is through his grace and mercy. But we are never instructed to sin or follow sin for this purpose. It is just ridiculous. Let's truly stand up for Christ and what he stands for, without letting political views distort the true meaning.

Your quotes from the Bible are correct, without a doubt - the conclusion is not; the Bible doesn’t give us any proof, not even an argument against it. And though we can’t reverse the destruction of earth through our power and our behavior we should try to preserve the creation as much as possible. We also can’t stop evil things from happening in the world - but we should not lie or kill or betray others aso, right? The fact that the ultimate restoration will be done by Jesus does not mean that we should participate in destruction until His second coming
Mark, you say that the condemned world that is suffering will be restored and the condemnation removed. Where does it say that in the Bible? In Psalm 102:25-27 it says earth and heaven were created by God but that they will perish, they will wear out like a garment. Isaiah 51:6 says the heavens will vanish like smoke and the earth will wear out like a garment. Hebrews 1:10-12 says the same, so does Jesus say this in Matthew 24:35. 2 Peter 3:10-14 says it all will be destroyed by fire and there will be a new earth and a new heaven.
The earth is under the condemnation just as our bodies are. Getting old and wearing out. The Bible doesn't say that when Jesus restores all it will be using the old earth and our old bodies. No, it says there will be a new earth, a new heaven and a new body.
There is change and has always been change. Before Noah and the flood things with the earth were different than now. People lived longer than now. There is change and it is because of sin and the condemnation for sure, but the Bible says it will all be new not restored.
On the youth and their fear of climate change I think Rush Limbaugh had it right... GOD IS IN CONTROL and man should not think he is so great that HE CAN CONTROL the climate. Change will continue and the end times will be tough but God is in control. As a Christian Pastor this is dangerous preaching, an anathema to God. The Hebrew of ‘dominion’ mentioned in Genesis is best translated ‘protect’. God saw that what he made was ‘good’, sure there was the fall and we look forward to a new heaven and earth, but whilst we wait we need to look after this Earth. Mark preached a really good sermon recently on caring for our grandkids, the best thing we can do for them is care for this Earth as we wait upon the coming of our Lord Jesus. I fear Mark is following the teaching of Trump, Musk and not Jesus with every new message he gives.

As a child of God I do agree with you that we should be involved in politics and making sure the world is moving forward for the Glory of God. From learning God's word and writing it on your heart it should change everything you do in this world.
