It's crazy that this is so much better at climbing than "normal" small wheels. Usually they struggle to climb anything steeper than about 20 degrees.
I agree, the extra grip is due to the low center of mass I think. It's a very exciting result, and I'm happy to have a small wheel build now!
Just add more wheels 5 would do it for me
I really enjoy your content and I love the engineering and building aspect of TOTK so much. I'm also the sort of person that plays without glitches in my own runs, and I find that people are constantly pushing what is possible with the game including glitches but the builds without glitches are being neglected a bit.
Tone, context, and intent can be lost a bit when this is just text, so to be clear, I'm not negative about other people using glitches and I even find the glitch based content to be interesting to watch, and I love to see your content regardless.
I'm only putting the vibe out there that I also love unglitched builds. Any love for us folks in the form of cool build ideas would be great, in case you are interested in putting out more of that kind of content as well, I'd be a voracious consumer of such content. Only positive thoughts and vibes here.
Thanks much regardless what you decide to do. This is a neat build and I've found it difficult to utilize small wheels well because they do so poorly in most kinds of terrain, so seeing the small wheels perform well is great. I tried to make any kind of car that could drive between the rito and the central hyrule area and the small wheel does poorly up hills and in snowy weather or terrain it seems, or I'm just not building them right.
I want to use small wheels to go fast but I can't get them to work well most of the time, unless it's super easy flat terrain or a road, and for that, I have horse. Even bone horse in the depths. I wish to master the small wheel, so seeing a good small wheel build makes me smile.
Appreciate the kind words! Most of the vanilla builds have already been covered. Here's a simple version with a fan, control stick, and small wheel that is great a traversal. www.reddit.com/r/HyruleEngineering/comments/1bsbxi8/small_cliff_climbing_amphibious_vehicle_monocro/
@@chesepuf But the build you linked also uses glitches right? There's a disembodied platform hanging under it
Ah yes you're right, I forgot it also has the seesaw. Here are a couple options that don't have it.

The fact that people are still making new shit. This game is truly breath taking. I’m playing it for my second time but on pc now. I’m having a blast.
I'd love to emulate it on PC for better framerate and resolution, but I don't want to do anything illegal.
But getting the files off a Switch is apparently not possible unless I have a jailbroken one. Sigh, oh well. I played it on Switch for 100 hours already so I guess it's not too bad.
@@sawdust8691 emulation is not illegal lol
@@jordangonzalez4658
Emulation isn't but piracy is. I was trying to say I want to legally emulate without pirating a copy.
But to legally emulate I have to get the game from the Switch to PC. But that requires a jailbroken Switch, and only the old Switch models can be broken. So I'm stuck unable to legally play it on PC.
@@jordangonzalez4658
hm. You tube deleted my reply. Hate that.
Anyway I'm trying to say I want to legally emulate, as in not acquire an inauthentic game copy.
But in order to to that I would need a hacked Switch to get the game files off onto PC, and I don't have a hackable Switch.
@@jordangonzalez4658
Emulation isn't but piracy is. And if I don't want to illegally obtain a copy then I would need a hacked Switch to get the game files onto PC. That's not illegal at all. But my Switch isn't hackable. So I'm stuck playing the game on Switch since I don't want to pirate.
i hope to use this one! amazing
Fun and simple. Well...kinda.

I want the real master cycle too :(
(thanks I like this one a lot!)
May I ask? Mr. Puf or any of the smart folks here....how far apart is it possible to stake nudge or gravity nudge two items from each other? Also, nice video, i especially like that tight turn you executed between the two little rock formations.
Uhh, farther than any attachment I've attempted. I don't know actually, just that attachments seem to get weaker the farther they are
@@chesepuf Thanks for answering. I've tried to get things far apart but honestly I'm just not that good at it. Respect.
What on Earth did I miss... When did people figure _this_ out??
Like 2 or so weeks ago people found out how to steal and use the sea saw.
You should add a fan to the back :)
There's a great build with a fan from the hyrule engineering subreddit www.reddit.com/r/HyruleEngineering/comments/1bsbxi8/small_cliff_climbing_amphibious_vehicle_monocro/
What's the song?

@@chesepuf thx
Isn't that redundant when there's already the stabilizer?
It is like a stabilizer lite. Stabilizers destroy climbing performance unless carefully angled and paired with a 2nd stabilizer. They also reduce the turning radius. The seesaw does the opposite for both of these, it helps the climbing performance by adjusting the center of mass and it improves the handling because of its secret special angular momentum weirdness
It seems underpowered to me. What if you use 2?
Two will for sure increase the power, but will also double the battery consumption. The goal for this build was to squeeze as much performance out of a single wheel as possible. KingX is working on some small wheel builds you should check out
Also, with the use of 2 wheels, the seesaw is not needed anymore www.reddit.com/r/HyruleEngineering/s/cSyXBkwYlI
