In advance mode would you be able to make a rule using the word check and then add the persons name that it was written to so that every check written to that person would automatically go to a certain expense account? We still write a lot of paper checks that need to be recorded one at a time but a lot of them are repeats every month so looking for a way to make a rules that will work with written checks. Thank you for help.

**EDIT** I FOUND MY ANSWER AT 12:00- NO NEED TO REPLY MARK** Hi Mark, bank feeds can't use "classes", can they (classes that you set up in QB)? I recall this was a limitation a couple years ago, but not sure if they corrected or improved this. For example I had a client that had multiple lines of business within its company that we separated using classes to measure the profit for each line of business. IIRC bank feeds weren't sophisticated enough to be able to split each transaction into classes and I wondered if this was still the case.
Yes if you look at the chapter in this video for the advanced interface you will see that you can use classes and jobs in the advanced window when you record from the review list into your permanent QuickBooks Online records Look in the description field for the table of contents and check out that video Chapter and let me know what you think Mark
