I liked Frantick and Dsoul overall. The only one i liked from Boogie bros was slim boogie. It's nice to see some music play rather than just hit hit hit all the time and do the musicality that everyone has already seen before.
You dont like kid boogie? This guy turned himself into a beast with the foundation. If only he could let loose a little bit more and like try not to be restricted by the limits of a dance move then he could be slim boogie level.
He has all the tools.
To me, the only popping foundation that you need is hitting. The rest is your personality and what you feel ^_^ He got the hitting down but I don't see that what he is doing now is his actual personality. I don't hate him :O He is surely on the top tiers of poppers but just my opinion :D Slim boogie creativity is his own so I like that alot :3
only hitting? There is so many moves within popping alone that he has perfected. The problem is that he has stayed stagnant because he has limited himself to a set of moves of popping and not going outside of it. To master something you must repeat it alot. Slim boogie has studied alot of different styles and combind it all together along with his very very insane musicality to make him who he is now.
Kid boogie just needs to add his own flavour and i think we could see kid boogie be at the level of slim. By the way i put slim at the very top with gucchon and kite.
I don't take boogaloo/animation/strutting as a popping foundation. Those are just styles that you can learn to like just get the body used to move in unusual positions really imo :O Coz I see popping itself is just hitting and the rest is just whatever.
Kid Boogie got all the boogaloo thing down and he is cool with it too. Just too regular. Though his nuke hits are very very impressive. I like boogaloo style too but maybe it's just me, I wanna see beyond boogaloo like look at Gucchon, Patrick, Slim, Frantick, Crazy Kyo, Popping J, Boogaloo Kin, etc :D They don't rely on boogaloo. They just went past all these popular terms like boogaloo and animation and came up with stuff that is full of their feeling and personality :3
I know kid boogie is still improving though. I do see him get bored of doing same moves sometimes though coz it is natural to want change.
