In an ambitious gamble, Bruce Ykanji (a prominent figure on the Popping scene), launched Juste Debout in 2002. The goal : Making Paris the worldwide centre for ‘standing’ dance forms, as opposed to the floor work embodied by the then-reigning king, Breakdance.

dafuq man. Never actively followed Slim Boogie but he blowed my mind in this one.
In terms of the smooth precise boog shit, man hes like one of the best. Very underrated. Met him a long time ago in person and he was even a beast way back then.

Dope battle! I judged that a tie myself, assume the popping judge has 2 here.
I swear, just watched this, and i try not to check video lengths the first time i watch a poping video. At the end I was like wow, thats a tie or if no tie then i guess kite and madoka. Then had to rewind to double check i counted the jugdes right because I thought it said tie, and realized there was a 4th one on the right and he was at the moment the tie breaker for me. What an amazing battle from all dancers here.

Slim was terrible compared to madoka????. I thought Slim won against madoa and kite won 2nd round.
i guess i was just expecting more from Slim. he normally is way better and Madoka is never great for me. i saw Slim do nothing special, like he normally does and Madoka out performed himself. imo
Thats the problem when you expect more from already the highest level of popping. He is easily the best popper on the planet and in my opinion by quite a large margin along with gucchon but man who even comes close to doing what slim is doing. Noone.
Every other popper is comparable but the way slim dances it looks like he is on his own world and the fact that musicality he hits every everything to the point that it goes unnoticed. He is doing the weirdest waves at the weirdest angles while flowing along with the music.
Madoka had a good round but thats just a product of him perfecting a skill. He could do the exact same moves in any track because he aint following the music like slim is.
What is that all about. I'm a fan of Madoka and i've never seen him dance like this anywhere before
