Hip hop 101 during the session Cannibus asked LL can he borrow the mic that’s tatted on his arm in his verse and LL Cool J said hell no get your own tattoo of something that means something to you 😅and it started a big beef 🥩 LL verse was aimed at Cannibus he literally dissed him on the song after LL heard Cannibus verse and re wrote his verse and dissected Cannibus verse that’s why LL says let’s get back to this mic on my arm etc 💪 after that then Cannibus came back with 2nd Round KO he went for his against A Legend and LL responded with Jack The Ripper you should react to all so you can understand the significance of this song 🎧 LL felt like Cannibus at that point hadn’t put in enough work to ask to borrow anything and felt offended nobody else on the song felt that way but LL is a different breed and character legendary and based his career of off battles

I can listen to Canibus’ verse 20 times back to back. Been my jam since ‘98. His verse on this is one of my favorite verses from any rapper in any year.

What most people don't know is, between him and slick Rick they are the ones responsible for changing the game. Nobody raps like him, no one had flow or was smooth as him.
