Let me explain, they are building Bron Breakker as this unstoppable force, similar to Goldberg and Brock Lesnar when they were in their prime, and I have a bad feeling that they are going to have Sami win because it is taking place in his home country of Canada. That is a terrible idea for three reasons so I'm going to list the three reasons and rebuttals to why Bron Breakker should win the IC title at MITB. 1. If Bron Breakker loses to Sami Zayn at MITB, then all of his momentum from his main roster run so far is going to go poof as It would take a very long time to rebuild him as this unstoppable freak of nature just like how WCW f'ed up with Goldberg when he lost to Kevin Nash at Starcade 1998. Now sure Bron lost a couple times during his run with RAW so far, but those losses were DQ when Sheamus attacked Ludwig Kaiser during their match and vice-versa. So basically I don't want WWE, specifically Paul Levesque (Triple H) to kill the golden goose by having Bron lose here. 2. It is taking place in Canada, Sami Zayn's home country, which might convince the booking team to have Sami win here. If they do that might be the laziest explanation to Sami winning as we seen over the past PLES or so, just because someone is from a specific country, doesn't mean they are necessarily going to win as we seen from Drew at the recent CATC event last month and many more. And besides Sami lost before in Canada last year where he lost to Roman Reigns for the Undisputed WWE Universal Champion at the Elimination Chamber PLE. Now sure it would be nice if Sami got a huge pop from the Canadian crowd ofc, but like I said before just because someone is from a specific country, doesn't mean they are necessarily going to win, so I hope Sami gets a humongous pop and puts over Bron as an unstoppable force. 3. Sami's title run is starting to get a little stale. I think Sami has just had enough mid card runs in his career and should be chasing a world title. He is still credible to be a good chasing face against a heel World Champ. Bloodline- Solo pins Cody. Roman returns to stop a post match beat down. Faces stand tall until Randy drops Cody with an RKO. This sets up Roman vs Solo and Randy vs Cody for Summerslam. I just really don’t buy Solo as a Summerslam main eventer after his abysmal win-loss ratio last year.
Im conflicted on who is winning these briefcases. Jey or Drew winning makes sense but we have Punk looming over Drew at all times so maybe Jey makes more sense. Womens match im leaning towards Tiffy since we know she can go and but Naomi would be a strong pick to cash in on an eventual heel champ or Chealsea since we can get comedy gold from her just holding it.

The Briefcase should be the storyline not something to further advance the other story... It is quite likely to happen...that's why I will still hate it no matter how good Drew and punk feud will be since they doesn't need the briefcase in the first place imo.
