I got a hold of the Savage Beauty book, and I was stunned to see almost all the pieces with such technical craftsmanship. Truly a legend of fashion, who will always stay alive in our hearts. Respect to the passion and talent.
You can really tell this is the first collection where he had a decent budget to create--this is so much better than any of his previous collections in terms of fabric quality, etc.

I find his sad demise very troubling, it pains me when talented people take their own life, but tis the burden of genius I suppose.

What's remarkable is that this collection doesn't date - it still seems as fresh as ever. Both eerie and enthralling.
