Come and tour some fine free camping around Mittry Lake in Southern Arizona just north of the town Yuma. You can camp up to ten days for free per calendar year!
@@serhammalot01 I can’t say we are snow birds - our home base is in a warmish place and we’ve never seen snow there. We have property we can stay on in Southern Arizona, so I think we can stay out of your way. Oh, but we do spend money & try to support the local businesses! Cheers!
They have a long term visitor area there that has fresh water, sewer dump and garbage dumpsters. I have been there Seven out of the last eight winters.
@@thunderbird97 No, I’m not. Martinez lake is some miles north of Mittey Lake., between both lakes is Senators Wash, which is the long term camping area that requires either a 2 week permit or the 8 month permit but has the water station, sewer dump and garbage bins.
I don’t see why not..we saw people trailering their boats there. I would check on their website first before you go, to see what kind of fish and if they stock it.
After 3 winters in the FL, GA & AL area, we are planning on Southern AZ next winter. Looks good - really like that they have dumpsters!
Yes..lots of great areas to camp and much easier find places than Florida. Thanks for watching!
and lots of dust in the air
Please don't come here. We don't like snow birds and there's enough people here already ❤

Oh thank you!
Place is beautiful! That camera does a nice job stabilizing 👍
Yeah I told Lorraine there must be a stabilizer because it didn’t look like this while I was filming

That’s nice to know..didn’t see where the water or dump station was
@@Parkyacar it’s not at that lake. It’s up the hill about a mile. But you have to be staying in the permitted area to use them.
You must be talking about the Imperial Dam Long Term Visitor area..thanks for the info
I think you are talking about Martinez Lake, north of Mittry lake few miles

Subscribed! Can you fish on a paddleboard there by chance? It looks like a fun place camp. I am in.

Is there any fishing in there and is it aloud.
I saw people fishing while I was there, but don’t know if they caught anything..there is also a ramp for boats
Can you go in the water ?
They have a boat ramp, so I would say yes.
What happened to your lovely wife’s narration?
She’ll be back when we start camping at state parks again..not really much narration is needed on this public land in the desert
when the big fish pull you in
looks likes a good place to smoke a lil crys
The pit toilets never looked like that when I camped there, they were disgusting !
Nice to know they cleaned them up.. Thanks for watching!
