Been following Be'lakor for nearly a decade now and simply cannot understand why they are still so underrated. Absolutely amazing vocals and maybe even better musicianship. I anxiously await their 2021 studio release.
It's an image thing, they look like a bunch of geeks still living at home. They need a serious image change. Music is fantastic 9/10 image 2/10 making them overall about average.
Would be nice if people didn't get caught up on image.I play very aggressive yet technical metal and never dress up for a gig.I am too focused on getting my playing just right.
@@TheHennie They just look like normal dudes to me. Dunno what you're on about. I think some of the other metal bands all tattooed with long hair and spiky jackets look a lot geekier and lame. These guys are just dressed normally with t-shirts and short hair, playing amazing music and not trying too hard to look super cool.

Love the band and the song, but GoPro-mounted-on-guitar just doesnt do it for me. I have no problem with using the CD audio instead of what actually emerged from the speakers on the night, and the overall video quality is excellent - just not a fan of GoPro in this instance. For those who feel Be'lakor lack stage presence, I kinda have to agree, but it has nothing to do with haircuts : check out any video of Parkway Drive live and you'll see how they get a crowd moshing. Be'lakor and Ne Obliviscaris are more cerebral, at least IMO, than PD but the latter definitely know how to work a live audience.
Mel Medina: Yes it sounds fantastic. I like that effect of the camera on the bass guitar, but it looks as if it was borrowed or stolen from Ronnie Wood from when he was with the Stones. Don't know if he was the first to use it?

lol that's exactly what I thought, I just found them few weeks ago, and I thought their image was a lil bit dark and long hair and everything...ahh OK, their music is so great!
The bands musicianship is superb but as another commenter said the crowd is lame but the band needs to change the stage presence to match the type of music being made, this is not a lame idea because even Behemoth did this and highly improved thier gamesmanship, I saw a live video by them where they performed a ritual before kicking the show off at Wacken.
Criminally underrated band, these guys deserve much praise. Big ups from the pacific northwest.
