After that he changed the lyrics and tone of this song and this song has become a healing and comforting song for so many people. Also i know that the lyrics say 'i want you to be your night' but i love thinking of it as 'i want you to be your knight'- as in, you don't need to wait for someone to rescue you but you can be your own knight in shining armour.
