The NDC's plan was to build schools(including technical ones), train teachers and secure the perpetual funding needed to sustain the program. So that even in the event of an economic crisis, it would not be affected. Statistics show that since the implementation of Free SHS, education quality has gone done, children don't have schools to study in because Akufo Addo has not built any, the school feeding program has received many complaints from parents and school administrators. Students don't have required textbooks to read, the minister of education frequently changes curriculums and semester structure, he spent millions of dollars to reuse past exam questions, the list goes on. Even though Free SHS is struggling and in need of a review, it is the only promise Akufo has kept. Where are the other flagship programs he promised: 1D1F, 1village 1 dam, 1 constituency 1 million, 88 Hospitals, 111 hospitals, etc.
