I've been using the ParaSoy Professional Wax (one for candles and one for wax melts) and haven't looked back. The ParaSoy Professional Melt Wax is 50% Soy Wax, 30% Vegetable Wax 20% Paraffin Wax and this blend gives the finished product a super glossy finish that pop right of the mould. I get mine from Supplies For Candles.
You are just wonderful at giving fantastic advice from your own experiences. Thank you so much for being generous with it. I find your info very helpful always. Love those colours by the way. You have a knack for making everything look gorgeous! 💗😇🥂💗
I am just memorized watching these melts come into being. Just beautiful . I thought that mica separated from wax and was not a good color agent. Not true??
Both are beautiful but love the Black and Gold best .my favourite song are let it go and when you wish upon a 🌟 love watching you as you never seem to get flustered xx
Beautiful per usual, Karen! Black and yellow is one of my fav color combos. When you were mixing that black, I was saying "Karen, my head is on the table. Pick me up, I'm getting dizzy" LOL
So pretty and a new look for you! I know you have been doing this for a long time but I have learned to heat up my molds with my heat gun to melt the residual wax and use 99% alcohol to spray and use paper towels to wipe everything out. I was scared of ruining my plumbing and never put any wax in it. That’s just me though.
I bought some ecosoy a few weeks ago from a different supplier, I noticed at first that the pellets felt sticky. When I made melts with them they came out really wonky, they had what looked like a skin on them like when you leave a sauce out for too long. I contacted them & they sent me another bag along with free oil samples. Although the bag said ecosoya on it they were unable to tell me what kind of wax was actually in the bag.
Hi from Florida! I used to love these was melts my sister had gotten me into, they had a wick in the middle, only thing I didn’t like, once wick burned out, it was done. They did not last long. I have plans to try this type of wax melts you make, once I buy a wax melter! Your wax melts are very pretty, and these scents sound delightful!
Love all your videos and your wax melts look amazing, the colours you've used look brilliant and the black and gold looks stunning aswell as the neon pink and yellow,I've not made any products for over a year n half so needed to wash all my silicone mould and I have a lot and to save time drying them I put them all in my dryer n it saved me loads of time, just thought I'd say incase nobody else has thought of it but people probably have xx
as always Karen, wonderful to watch, and very inspiring. I always come away from one of your video's with something new to try. As a complete newbie, your channel is an inspiration and like a guidebook - thank you so much..Terry
Hey lovely. If I want to order your wholesale wax melts. Would I be able to know the scents I will be ordering?? So I can order my own labels for them. Thankyou. Xx
Hey Karen, they look gorgeous, love the Disney ones, I could smell it when you was explaining the different fragrances, lol, could you send me a link to the pipettes you buy, been trying to get a similar one but having trouble. Thanks again for all you wonderful videoed, so helpful and all you Little secrets. You inspire so many people. Thank again Tina 53 from Somerset 💐
I use paraffin wax for my melts and certain silicone molds especially the cheaper ones tend to build up residue almost like a dust! I heat my molds before use and then wash them in a bin with boiling water and a little dish soap with stiff brush, then rinse with boiling water again! Do not discard the water down the sink!!!! Finally I wipe them with a dry j-cloth and they look new!
Beautiful combination of colours.. I make melts myself... have just came across your channel..been watching your videos...finding them very helpful as I would love to start making soap.. very inspirational thank you for sharing.
What's the point of it looking so nice when mixing and pouring when you put in warming bowl to melt a cube and the mica sinks to the bottom of the bowl leaving a clear liquid layer on top? How do I stop that from happening? tia :)
Currently binging on your videos whilst I'm very ill atm (damn covid) and I'm going to be making my own wax melts and soaps soon, with thanks to you, you're so inspiring. Absolutely love your videos, love your work. Thank you for your tutorials.theyre great and help immensely x
Can you add activated charcoal to wax? Just wondering... I finally took the leap and ordered my goodies to make melts. I can hardly wait! It looks like fun. You inspired me, your melts always turn out beautifully. I may have more questions when I start making them. Thanks for sharing your video.
Kathy I'm curious as to why you'd want to add charcoal to wax? There would be no benefit so I wouldn't waste the money doing this. Are you meaning as a colorant to color them?
If you really need to I'm sure it would be okay. They do use it in wax for skin waxing BUT it usually turns out more dark gray than black. You'd have to add so much to get it really dark I don't think cost wise it would be worth it when you can use actual candle dye or micas for much cheaper and they work the best for getting the wax a true black. :)
Hi from Florida! My siblings and I grew up watching re-runs of the original Wonderful World of Walt Disney with, Walt Disney himself hosting the show with Tinkerbell! It was on every Sunday evening and they showed a Disney movie! One of my fav Disney songs is Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious from Mary Poppins, cuz if you say it loud enough you’ll always sound precocious!
I love your wax melts videos . I watch like everyday. I have few different types of bars. I had to buy (400) pippets, and I keep (400) bags at had well try to . Lol is (40) lbs of wax to much or is that to low to keep as stock?. Please answer. Thank you. Stay safe. More snap bar videos please ☺️❣️
Your videos have been so helpful! I put 10% fragrance oil with my wax, adding it and pouring into molds at the temp you mention. Is there any reason this may be?
hi, I'm watching this because I tried the black & gold drizzle. I'm sooo nervous first time doing the drizzles I forgot to heat them up I hope they still turn out. Do ppl still buy if they may have frosting on them?
The glass tends to be cold (and warms slower) and so the wax hardens quicker. Versus plastic is thin and it heats up a lot quicker so the wax stays fluid.
I’ve finally sussed out how to get the residue off!! Microwave for 2 mins and wipe with wet wipe!
I don't know why but I always enjoy watching you make wax melts. lol thanks mary
Absolutely love the black and gold ,they go together so well.

I enjoyed the music you chose for the various portions of this video!
They all turned out to be lovely looking. I always love the way the mica makes patterns when poured. Wish they would dry that way.
Pick me up, I'm getting dizzy" LOL

hey! what temperature does both the pipped wax and the poured wax need to be at so it sticks together and doesn’t separate ?
could you do this effect in a clam shell ?
rewatched this earlier with my 10 year old daughter who is slightly obsessed by wax melts ! She loved watching this video and seeing how they’re made.
Lovely wax melts as always Karen! 💛
Hi Karen, I love both colors
still burning my wholesale haul off you i love them xxxxx

Those small whisks are adorable.
The black and gold bars are stunning! 😍
I love making wax bars. Lady and the tramp is mine and my favourite film. They was so cool I loved um x
I dont warm my moulds - what is the reason? X
Hi from Florida! I used to love these was melts my sister had gotten me into, they had a wick in the middle, only thing I didn’t like, once wick burned out, it was done. They did not last long. Absolutely beautiful! Can you please share the math (wax weight and fragrance) for these molds ?
It’s always 10% fragrance
as always Karen, wonderful to watch, and very inspiring. I always come away from one of your video's with something new to try. As a complete newbie, your channel is an inspiration and like a guidebook - thank you so much..Terry
Hey lovely.
If I want to order your wholesale wax melts.

Just gorgeous!🍵🫖🎉
My favorite Disney song is Once upon a time in December… from Anastasia. I love the theme you have for the wax melts, so whimsical.
Anastasia wasn't originally Disney but now that Disney bought Fox it totally counts. I love that song too.
Thank again

I have an obsession with Lush’s Vanillery perfume do you know if I can get that? I do vanilla but it slightly different thanks :0)
Could we use a silicone mold release spray?
You are so full of great tips and info.
I use paraffin wax for my melts and certain silicone molds especially the cheaper ones tend to build up residue almost like a dust! They look gorgeous love them
What's the point of it looking so nice when mixing and pouring when you put in warming bowl to melt a cube and the mica sinks to the bottom of the bowl leaving a clear liquid layer on top? How do I stop that from happening? tia :)
It's because the mica is heavier so sinks , just give it a stir when it's melting and it will mix together again
Yet again you have inspired me to have a go at making some wax melts ..
I could watch you all day Karen 🙏🙏
One of my favorite wax melt design you have done
is this a food safe Mica powder or just regular? I am very new to all of this
Sooo cool! Can we use oxides and ultramarines?
Happy Caturday from Florida! I have recently started watching wax melt videos, your videos make me want to buy a wax melter!
Absolutely Beautiful x

I'd also like to know this!
Kathy I'm curious as to why you'd want to add charcoal to wax? There would be no benefit so I wouldn't waste the money doing this. Are you meaning as a colorant to color them?
@@christeef6840of course, as a colorant. I do have some black oxide. But in a pinch, I was wondering if activated charcoal would work?

Them are amazing, what is the thing u are using to suck the wax up

Truly a gift. Thank you

hi, I'm watching this because I tried the black & gold drizzle. I'm sooo nervous first time doing the drizzles I forgot to heat them up I hope they still turn out. Do ppl still buy if they may have frosting on them?
Beautiful color combonations
Yay...love these!
Ahh Karen. I say it every time but I owe everything to you! Hope you’re keeping well! Xx
how stinking adorable... for real..
Can I ask how do you find is the best method to remove fragrance from silicone molds
Google
Hi, I’ve tried to use my glass pipette , but the wax hardens straight away in the pipette ,what am I doing wrong ?
The glass tends to be cold (and warms slower) and so the wax hardens quicker. Versus plastic is thin and it heats up a lot quicker so the wax stays fluid.
Keep the pipette in bowl of hot water to keep it warm
I always use paraffin wax but I have just bought soy wax so I’m going to try mixing them thanks for the tip
You have a nice singing voice :)
By the way I been sharing all your videos wiith my friend and family.
I never thought to microwave the mold itself!
Wow there stunning
Lovely😁
My favourite disney song is Tale as Old as Time from Beauty and the Beast.
