im digging into my family ancestry and ancestry tells me that i have ancestors that cover coahuila nuevo leon san luis potosi and tamaulipas but idk if i am connected to the pueblo indians or if im related to them anyone help me plz
I’m reading a book on American colonialism and currently in the chapters about the Pueblo peoples and their struggles against the Spanish . Interesting to see how they’ve thrived against such aggressors and ultimately outlasted their cruel oppressors !
What an interesting slice of American history. Heartbreaking what the American migrants went through in the great Depression and Dust Bowl years. I was so glad the character at the end of this doc had a happy ending!
I love the fact that there are no visitors allowed on that sacred river... wherever outsiders go so do their graffiti and the urge to destroy mother nature
The Native People's deserve the resources that help replenish there losses. I expect they understand the value of the Higher Mind, which can give them the balance necessary to live in a positive Harmony with abundance. It is a most Benefic value and opportunity for these most deserving Peoples. Best Thoughts ...
I grew up in Arizona and have many happy memories of 66. I miss those times, there was an electric excitement in the air. People were happy and enjoying themselves, and the 'mad rush' was virtually nonexistant. Thank you for this amazing journey.
I lived in AZ for part of my childhood and young adulthood. I went of U of A in Tucson. Whenever I could I went out to the desert to meditate and just be. For me it remains the home of my spirit.
All I no is as a truck driver I literally hate driving thru the 40 and having to stop because the native folks are either extremely racist or hate black folks. I've been all over and there the only natives that make me feel like they hate the color of my skin or I'm not welcome. The other natives in America make me feel welcome and at home they smile and there extremely cool and nice makes me feel right at home. So now the only place I stop is in Albuquerque, NM
Big Jay I started to move to Gallup, NM in late 90s and noted the look of Hate the locals (NA) gave me when I walked to MVD office. I quickly decided to relocate Elsewhere. I'm native American born in midwest and have fair skin tone. I don't like a Worped Attitude from strangers don't care who they are. All that shows me is a mentality issue which I'd rather steer clear of. This documentary may have been better without a foreign Voiced narrator?? Why not NA if its truly about the local NA folks.?? Might have seemed authentic?
For a years and years Pueblo Native Americans always denied they were ever related to the Anasazi Native Americans. Now that the Pueblos realized how much land the Anasazi once owned their just now saying they are related to the Anasazi people lol.

Should have asked a Hopi elder what the petroglyphs say, instead of a person who has no connection to them, and is only guessing.

A kilometer = 0.621 Miles or just over a 1/2 of mile. If they say 4000 kilometers = appx 2,400 - 2,500 miles.
