Lot of self respecting metal bands will never go to Eurovision. Both they and Eurovision understand that they are an unlikely mach. Lordi and Blind Channel are exceptions to the rule, since they are not considered metal in Finland. Our metal scene is highly varied, and rarely applicaple to a wider audience like Eurovision. When it comes to acts like Käärijä and Windows 95 man, it's our desire to celebrate and enjoy the ESC as it is and what it has become. Just because we have metal bands as dark and doomy as Norway, does not make them party anthem worthy.
@@mantailuaa And Nightwish won the public vote, We are still bitter about the jury making a BIG mistake back then in 2000. Also We have had Teräsbetoni in Eurovision too :)

Don’t be so sure, even Nightwish tried to get into Eurovision once. I would love to see more real metal in the competition.
