Fun fact: Tampere, with its roughly 250.000 inhabitants, is the large inland city in the Nordic countries. Obviously there are bigger cities (Copenhagen, Stockholm, Helsinki, Oslo etc) but they are all situated on the coast.
Tampere is a nice place to visit. If you like old wooden houses, then watch some videos about old Porvoo. For example, there is a 25 min video called "Finland Walks: Porvoo (Borgå). Picturesque small town, interesting history. Relaxing virtual walk." where the video shows the town streets nicely with natural sound and guiding captions. The Muumi video was the "Muumipeikko ja pyrstötähti" movie. I think SandePeikko has the one with the English subtitles.
That might be one of the Pizza Enrico's and Raul Orreggano's places: "Pizza Enrico - Mitä Sinä Sanoa". Enjoying the view from that skybar: "BASE jump Tampere (skybar) 88.5m". Lenin and blood sausage: "Miksi Tampereella on Lenin-museo?". Sauna: "AVANTO HOLE IN THE ICE" and "Rajaportti Sauna: My Fave Finnish City: Tampere & Finlands Oldest Sauna". Naughty Burger guys have a TV show. Last season they were in the US and this season they are in Asia: "Burgerimiehet ''THE BURGER MAN'' Song | Burgerimiehet Pohjois-Amerikassa". BBC Moomin documentary and a three part study on Moomins: "BBC Moominland Tales: The Life of Tove Jansson" and "An Amateur's Guide to Moomin (Part 1)". As a bonus, a visit to Moomin World in Naantali. There's also another one in Japan: "Muumimaailma Naantali 18.7.2020".
Hello, Mauro! I've been watching you & haven't commented any ur video. Those blood sausages we also calling it mustamakkara (black sausage) just reminding. And i living in Tampere. Right now it's very cloudy & half sunny day. 🙂 😎
Fun fact: The founder of Naughty Brgr, Aleksi Herlevi, won the Finnish Top Chef competition in 2011. Afterwards he got fed up with fine dining and all the artsy shit and started making burgers instead. I'd say they're one of the best burgers in Finland.
Nice place for a day trip with family or a motorbike ride. I live 1 hour away. Donuts and black sausage are awesome. P. S. I have been in Limone sur garda in 1977, it was great too!
I have lived here since I was born. I still love this city even somehow it's became worse. Good things: - architecture - interesting history - festivals and markets - nice suburbs Bad things: - drug problem - there seem to be more drunkards in the centrum than 20 years ago - new construction projects all the time and the noise and alternative routes caused by them
I´ve been living here in Tampere little more than 6 years. I tried mustamakkara few months ago and i didn´t like it. Too little flavor for my taste. I like sausages with flavor and small kick. So Habanero sausage is my favourite.
Communism was created by Karl Marx in the 1800s but yes Lenin and Stalin met for the first time in Tampere, in 1905. Nowadays there's a Lenin museum in that building.
3:44 That "long Finnish word" is... well, not real. It doesn't mean anything, it's unusable in any context, even most of its sub-parts don't mean anything at all, no Finn would naturally land on that word when speaking or writing. So, don't be too hard on yourself if you find it difficult to grasp that word!
He's not wrong about Pyynikkis doughnuts. 👍🏻🍩 Blood sausage is SO GOOD!

Bars have board games because friend groups want to play games while drinking. if you dont play games, people just watch their phones and drink : D
It's so fun anyone can be turned into a drinking game 😄
Some trivia Tampere has a Swedish name and it’s Tammerfors

Tampere is my birth place. Allso the birth place of communism where Lenin and Stalin met and plotted the uprising

Tampere wasnt a birth place of communism, it was just the base of the commies during civil war and Stalin met Lenin there, nothing more😂
"I dont like board games". Well sir you're the first one I've seen to say that. I liked them when I was a kid, but now...please no!
