I am using Jeep Compass since 5 years. Did not have single major issue till now. Every Service costed me in between 10-14k which isn't that expensive in this segment. Highway ride quality is tremendous in Compass. It just glides over bumps and bad patches. Speeder you go better it handles. If you like spirited driving Compass is your choice. I agree Rear seat isn't the best for its price especially because of its upright seating position but still manageable.

@@emmanuellopez1960 team bhp is a closed place where new members joining itself is less. I own a Jeep compass 4x4 and it is as reliable as any other car. The service network till now is quite responsive. I had a rat bite issue and they handled it very well and resolved it in quick time. Now the engine cladding which the rat bit, had to come from Pune/mh and it took time. Now if i go on to team bhp and make hue and cry of this, that they don't store cladding locally etc. That's what is happening there. Also understand India's population is so much, so team bhp is a miniscule sample size. Also if you read the posts, it is all about resolution expectations. There will be lemon in any car incl the most reliable Toyota. But they are expecting an engine replacement to happen in 2 to 3 days. Can't happen with any brand bcos, no one expects engine to break so early. Sorry you got a lemon. But do things to rectify it. Not bash the brand completely. There will surely be happy and crossed customers of Jeep. In my experience it is not that bad.

@@vallabhvj80 what about rattling noise? Also in United States there is an investigation regarding reliability of compass engine. TBH I really like the car and is on the verge of buying it but these concerns pull me back.

    • @vallabhvj80

@@emmanuellopez1960 no rattling issues for me. Have driven in worst of roads so far. 2021 was plagued with both battery and rattling, which seems to be fixed in 22.
US is 2.4L Multiair and ours is 2.0L turbo. The issue with Multiair is it only gives 172nm torque whereas ours is 300 to 350nm torque. With diesel torque is everything. pls don't listen to reviews from US. They talk of reliability from long engine mileage pov. For them something that keeps running till 200000-250000 miles(no tkm) is a reliable engine. We don't use our cars more than 6 to 7 yrs Max. Also with new emission norms to come, diesel is going to die. Diesel automatic will be extinct. May be in very high end cars. So future is hybrid. Don't think ev is future for now. It is not carbon neutral according to me and there is range panic.. so this is our window to enjoy a good diesel auto head as long as it lasts.
I also see a lot of TH-cam reviews on sluggish zf transmission performance, as if we take our cars to race everyone. This is a off road capable trail car and not drag car. PPL also compare this to older bs4 engine, and so they say it is little less enthusiastic. But the word for it is refined. For normal city drive and highway cruise, this is a powerful powerful premium compact suv. What we should be talking is handling, which is absolutely brilliant with no body roll , take a test drive and it should put a smile on your face for sure. Esp upgrading from Seltos or creta.
If you want a safe and buch muscular city car, which can also do great on highways and Ghat roads, little bit of track, then this is the best. It is ofc pricy.
Jeep, if they decide to go aggressive and reduce price, this will eat into every XUV, harrier and MG, even some will upgrade from high end Seltos /creta. But may be they want it to be in that premium segment. So are asking customer to pay that Jeep tax. Is it worth it? It is personal preference.. I'm absolutely happy knowing that the bank balance of what I save from not buying this is incomparable to the safety and lives of my loved ones. Above three cars, all of them have one thing in common, which is safety. Premium quality and built like tank.. that's the most important. I upgraded to Conti SC5 235/55/18 and the ride quality is top notch compared to stock Bridgestone Turanza, which is , absolutely decent tyres but has sidewal issue and puncture prone. I always go Conti in all my previous cars.
The smile I get on my face, everytime I do a tight corner at over 100km, without kissing the brakes, and nil body roll is absolutely priceless!.
PS: there will be niggles, Lemon in every car, pls don't base it to buy yours. Test drive like crazy, two to three times, all the cars in your list, and buy the soulmate! All the best.

Tiguan excellent drivability, performance, built to last longer and won't age easily so it is great choice for driving enthusiasts!
On the other hand compass diesel is

I bought Tucson Signature diesel 6 months ago. Honestly speaking these are pros and cons I found after using the vehicle daily for 12000 kilometres
    Pros
The interior has soft touch materials and leather is used extensively. Big Touch screen is bright and response is good.
A head turner on roads due to its sharp styled design and unique front and rear.
The quality of interior is superior compared to Tiguan's plasticky feel. Jeep's interior quality is more or less similar.
Fuel economy is impressive city:12 , higway : 15-17 with rough driving it comes to around city:9.5-10, highway: 14-15
Ride quality is excellent on bad roads
Seats are extremely comfortable and have wide range of adjustments with heated and ventilated function
Hyundai's reliability and service network is commendable. Also the Shield of trust package is something that relives lot of tension.

Vw taigun has 4motion which is akin to Quattro technology used in Audi cars. And Quattro is the best 4x4 technology having edge over BMW Xdrive. Huyndai H-trac is no match for 4motion of VW. Jeeps 4x4 system can somewhat compete. 2.0 liter tsi is the gem of engine and beat any diesel engine of similar capacity in performance. In terms of drivabolity taigun has handsome edge over its competition. Jeep's 8 speed automatic is the most lethargic amongst competitive gearbox and DSG of the taigun is the best. Hence in terms of performance (from 2.0 tsi), fit n finish, drivability and for 4motion technology Raigun is the best pic. Comparison of features which most youtuber does is useless here. Technologically Taigun is superior machine.

I own a Compass Trailhawk. I have not driven the other 2 cars, but I can say that the Jeep is very authoritative on the highway. Oodles of torque, near zero NVH, built like a tank and superb ride quality. It makes easy work of bad roads and interstate drives. And lastly, it has proper 4x4 with low range gearing. Negatives - not very spacious, parts cost a bomb, and low ground clearance for a off-roader.

Brain ofc has to point to Hyundai, Heart says Tiguan, but atma is connected to Jeep. Ofc Jeep bs6 is less enthusiastic to drive but it still retains most of its DNA. Zf transmission is not as bad as everyone projects it. Unless you want to drag race or have to evade chasing cops, this is perfectly punchy drive. Manual is the best for enthusiasts, but not convenient now a days for city drives. I have a Jeep compass 4x4 diesel AT and loving it. And now for the Jeep rattling, haven't faced it, jeeps reliability: as reliable as any other car, service network is great in large cities but not great in smaller cities. As long as you don't get a lemon, you should be ok

Compass auto boxes are comfort oriented which doesn't go well with rest of the car. Same for petrol engine. Therefore the only sensible option is manual diesel. However, this doesn't come with 4*4.
Guess diesel option is compass, petrol is tiguan and 4*4 option is again compass. Tuscon is good for ppl who are not driving enthusiasts and want a comfy car with loads of features.

    Good work rachit ji !!
But still I feel you have missed some key points in this comparative video......
1.) No clear mentioning regarding which of these has a cooled glove box......
2.) Which of these is offers a Wi-Fi connectivity to their infotainments system and has a set of local utility & entertainment apps designed by the car manufacturer....... Like the way MG and Mahindra have done .
3.,). You have not mentioned it that does any of them have cooled seats like found in MG hectare because heated seats are not a great requirement in the warm countries like India .
4.) You have clarified that a boot of 540 litres in Hyundai tax on is extremely capacious and large enough for three big suitcases..,.... But it is surprising and confusing for the viewers that a boot capacity of 650 ltr. which is found in Volkswagen tiguan falls short of capacity in front of the boot of other two SUVs and cannot accommodate three large suitcases ......this is something really confusing .
Hope you will you will consider these small constructive inputs as a positive feedback in a healthy spirit ....... Otherwise there is a lot of admiration for your meticulous hard work and exhaustive presentation of comparative features in all such mega comparison ........👍👍👏👏
