"Let the wooden soldiers enjoy their feast, let's ignore the marionette's corpse right there."
Can't spell "funeral" without "fun"
I would have seen this as a segment of Fantasia.
I agree, a petition should be started to have this animation as one of the segments in the 3rd Fantasia.
Dude, this is perfect Fantastia material!
Outstanding...Im sure Hitchcock would approve but in his usual snarky manner.
That is brilliant. A wonderful piece of music so totally brought to life in the animation. Really memorable piece of work.
Fantastic animation Tom, so much detail to take in. Love the juggler!
This is amazing! What program did you use for the animation?
By the way, does anyone else think the ending was surprisingly creepy?
Little Einsteins brought me here!
The Puppet Princess!
@@PJB-ks9vn That’s the one!
EXACTLY
And Alfred Hitchcock Presents!
The Treasure behind the Little Red Door
So wonderful!
"Good Evening."

This is a delightful video to a classical piece of music, thoroughly enjoyable. Who could down-vote it? :(

This was really nice.
What happened if the Little Einsteins meet Alfred/98462?
He falls down again and they carry him and he falls again and they carry him and he falls again and......
When he falls they have to carry him and then when he falls they have to do it all over again.
Just Like Alfred’s Theme
It WAS Alfred's theme ...
YUP, that would be it.

Okay... so this doesn't seem to be the same Tom Scott who's made the Things You Might Not Know videos.
100% unsatisfied.
amazing
I'm really curious- whose recording is this? The animation is really cool if maybe a tad creepy (not a bad thing considering the title and tone of the piece).
It's definitely a MIDI "recording" and not a real orchestra.
Do you even know what real instruments sound like or have you grown up listening to all-synthesized crap? I've played real music and listened to way plenty of it to be able to distinguish between real and electronic. Can you tell the different instruments by sound and tone? I can. Try listening to something real and then come back and comment after you've learned something.
Actually I've worked with real instruments and synthesized crap so yes, I can tell the difference. I have absolutely no doubt that the above is electronically produced.
I am an electronic musician and a public school music teacher. I must say this is a very high quality electronic rendering. It sounds great. Fantastic sound all around - a great mix. I came here after watching the closing credits of the movie "Hitchcock" which uses the same music, naturally. I am looking for songs and videos to show my general music classes this coming week before Halloween. This will be great.
yes..
❤❤❤❤❤
That's from Alfred Hitchcock presents
+Ruth Ranaudo Yes. Obviously, Hitchcock liked the mocking humor of the work.
+Ruth Ranaudo It's the other way around.
This was written in 1872. Hitchcock chose it for his show. Several arrangements were used.
I can imagine one of the marionettes as Alfred Hitchcock
Is the music an acustical symphonic orchestra, or digital synthesiser ?
If synthetiser, what is brand ? Yamaha ? Roland ? Böhm ? Or digital samples with MAC INTOSCH sound bank ?
Sounds to me like a real orchestra.
Is it symphony orchestra digital samples ?
HoH SiS
Brilhante trabalho.
Good evening.
Superbe animation !!!!
Excelente animação
Alfred Hitchcock presents...
Super!
he literally "died" and The toy soldiers drank and be merry in front of his corpse.....ok.
This doesn't work for me. Had it been a duo between Johnathon providing the music on organ, and the animation overlaid then fine. It's not a duo in any way shape of form. My 5 year old likes it though.
That's a pretty metal name for classical music...
Alfred Hitchcock presenta
!!!!!!!!!
