Turkish Tea : A Taste of Turkey in your Hands | Türk çayı | Beat the Heat with Tea

You all know that I went to Turkey for a vacation. There I tasted Turkish black tea for the first time and loved it.
In Turkey, people start the day not with coffee, but with a glass of freshly brewed Turkish tea, more familiarly known as ‘çay’ (pronounced ‘chai’). It is served ‘black’ in small thumb size, tulip shaped glasses. What sets it apart is the way it's traditionally brewed. In this video I show you how you can make black tea with traditional Turkish brewing method.

Ingredients you need
4 tsp Turkish black tea leaves or 4 -5 tea bags
Approx 8-9 cups filtered water
( I used 2 turkish black tea bags and 2 heaped tsps of earl grey black tea. It is strong tea)
