They were like two episodes deep when I started making this. - WHY NO LINK BETWEEN WORLDS? Because they never finished it, and Danny made a comment in a video once where he didn't want to return to the series for personal reasons. I didn't want to force it back into the Lovely discourse for that reason, also there was already over 150 hours of footage to go through without it lol - WHY NO YELLVIS? Look man...I forgot I'M SORRY, it's Wind Waker Episode 51 if you want to rewatch it! - WHY NO *insert one billion clips here*? See before for the 150 hours of footage comment, the original draft of this was about an hour long and it needed to cut down to be as tight as possible, some people still think 40 minutes is too long! Another comment I will add is I originally pitched this as a "Zelda timeline" style video, my goal was to encapsulate all the different series as a nostalgia trip for people who have seen them and a trailer for people who haven't and want to check them out, overall adding up to a document of the Grumps relationship with Zelda as a whole and why these playthroughs are among their most popular. I hope what has come out is an easy watch! It's a long video but I hope it's a breezy watch cos I'm always thinking about that. Anyway hope people like what came out, I worked about a month on this wanting to make something special for my main channel debut, hopefully I didn't Shockmaster myself straight onto my face. Congrats to Game Grumps and the beautiful execution of adding these compilations to their channel. I will say normally, compilations bother me when other people monetize someone else’s content. This is such a great way to not only give more content to the fans and bringing us back to their channel, but they also recognize the fans behind it. Well done. This has totally changed my view and increased my appreciation for the amount of thought that goes into Game Grumps as a whole.
My favorite game grumps series of all time has always been OoT, the chats they had every episode were so immersive and endearing. I think I may watch it start to finish again sometime soon
I LOVE these compilations and I LOVE that you guys started using them from other channels. I mean I watch most game series, but they just remind me of all the best moments I forgot about, and they help out the other channels.
