I hate they made Jason forget his friendship/sibling relationship with Brenda. They were very protective of each other. They still are but hate each other.
ironically when Brenda came back in 2010 the Bulkin s/l plans were originally to put Jason and Brenda together but Vanessa was not liking the s/l and wasn't planning on staying beyond that really so that is why they kept Jasam together.
The Balken storyline was the worst. I don't blame VM for leaving after that story was over. They could've brought her back for something better than that.
