Filled with dynamics, key changes, time changes, double stops, glissandos, various percussion, and fun pizzicato in the cellos and basses, Barn Yard Hoe-Down, is perfect for advanced, chamber or youth orchestras and is sure to be a crowd pleaser.
I wanted to do a fun piece for awhile. So, I decided to do my take on a hoe down, "Barn Yard Hoe-Down". While it is important to milk all dynamic markings, this piece is meant be played as playful as possible. Hope you and your students enjoy this as much as I enjoyed composing it!!!
Snare Drum and Bass Drum are optional and can be used in lieu of foot and heel stomps.
