It's beautiful because it talks about the dissolution of the USSR without talking a single word about the USSR, Russia, Communism, etc. It could be a romantic/melancholic song if not for the context
Damn nostalgia for the past, but our life should not be limited by what once was, but rather prepare ourselves for what is happening and what will be, WE MUST FIGHT FOR THE FUTURE
Goodbye USSR, you beautiful flower in the Northeast. Finally some good time after so many famines and wars, and then Just end and Fall to the worst it could be! To Vladimir Putin! A Bad person...

@Democratic Reedemed Russian Black League State 1. He said Stalin could have saved the USSR not Lenin 2. You saying free market would not happen. A free market is a key trait of Capitalism so switching to it would basiclly be admitting that a part of Communism was inferior which would not go with the politburo well. The only chance of this really happening with Gorbachev which would only increase calls for democracy in the union 3. Adding onto the free market idea and more calls for democracy. Take China as an example. When China swapped to a free market, yes it improved the lives of the people and better economic prosperity, but thoose people with better lives now want more freedoms, which was the main demand in the Tiananmen protests.
@tele-thegreatrial Lenin only adopted free market so that capitalists will develop industries and can later nationalize it to achieve socialism. The socialist countries (Except DPRK) all follow the same model. Although lenin wouldnt have taken such long time.
Can you not be so disrespectful? Also this is no place to you to yap about your fucking pro Ukrainian shit when this is about the fall of the Soviet Union, not the Ukrainian war.
