Glamour Mag Editor Samantha Barry on imposter syndrome, working with Anna Wintour & New York life.

My guest today is Samantha Barry, the editor-in-chief of Glamour, one of the biggest female- focused media titles in the US.
Born and raised in Cork, Ireland, Samantha became the first editor-in-chief of a Conde Nast publication to have never previously worked in print media when she was appointed editor-in-chief by Anna Wintour. Under her leadership, Glamour has reached record breaking monthly audiences and grown their video content hugely with Barry recently interviewing the US First Lady, Dr Jill Biden. Prior to joining Glamour Barry served as executive producer for social and emerging media at CNN Worldwide. Under her leadership at CNN, the network became the most followed news organization in the world.
In this conversation we talked about her incredible career, imposter syndrome, being an immigrant & putting down roots in New York and getting her start on late night news reading shifts in RTE.
