I get hella DM's weekly about not being able to use AutoTune Pro. So in this video I did this so you can check and see if you're doing something wrong with your key or scale. I started from scratch just so you can watch me throughout the full process of how I set it up. I done a video like this for Waves Tune Real Time so I decided to do it for the people who use Autotune Pro and need help specifically with this plugin.

I agree Sky! Low latency mode and the correct key/scale are the most important things. Next is retune speed! A quick tip is to use the "Auto Key" plugin that comes with autotune pro to quickly find the key/scale of your beats! Makes it super easy to find the scale without using mixed in key or anything else. Plus it automatically maps the key to every instance of your autotune pro in your session! I just did a tutorial on this yesterday! Im also hosting an Autotune Pro giveaway for anyone interested! Keep grinding and keep dropping the tutorials bruh! 💯

good video .. i think besides the the key of the instrumental is good to know what tones and melodies can go with that scale? ive seen cases where the key is set up but if you try to sing way off out of the key it will push it back to key but will make it sound bad. and if you sing good tones on the same key is more smooth. i guess playing the tones of the beat key on the piano will give a good reference to start singing in the right tones

How are you able to hear yourself ? when I open my auto tune it doesn’t change my voice like I want to be able to hear myself in real time while I adjust my settings?

compress ur voice so u dont sound lower or louder on some parts of your vocals. when u have compressor u sound the same volume all time.
Sky, I'm in pro tools and my Antares auto tune unlimited doesn’t seem to be working correctly. I have it all set up and the plug ins appear in my DAW, but when I select AT Pro, it’s still my regular voice with no auto tune. Please somebody help me

You can always put it in grid mode but I’m just used to tracking in slip mode

But isn't Gb the exact same thing as F#? You wouldn't have to change it at all, because they're only called different things but are actually the same (coming from a classical and jazz musician)
Relative scales always apply just in Auto-Tune plugins they automatically switch it’s not like waves tune real time where you can set it how you want
I agree - F# minor is the enharmonic of Gb minor.. meaning they’re the same.

Auto tune doesnt work when i apply it to my vocal track but it will work when i add it to the master which makes no sense and ruins everything else for me! Is anyone able to help? Nah it’s most likely a bug. It does that from time to time but only in pro tools for me
