I keep going back and fourth between this and an S1K i live in California and the dealer selling the S1K will allowed test rides but not the dealer selling the ZX10. They're both great bikes. Im so conflicted any help would be much appreciated.
@@CK_RIDES I went with the ZX10R 2025 KRT. No regrets I liked the S1k and I'll get one eventually I just like the looks better on the ZX10 but I know the S1k is a better bike overall but I'd like them both in the stable lol. But the ZX10 needs to be tuned you can feel the restrictions it has which is my only complaint.
Stephen…honestly you can’t go wrong with either. One thing I will share from experience is that the Quickshifter is superior on the R1. Hands down. It do your own research and buy the machine that speaks to you.

I have a 2023 ZX6 636 and a 2023 ZX10R. They've both nice, but I feel MUCH safer on the ZX10 at higher speeds. The ZX6 is over 10,000 RPM at 100 in 6th. My ZX10 is just getting started and I'm only in 5th at 100.
@@richardcerritelli9657 The ZX10R will do 100 in second... but it's cruising very nicely at that speed in 5th. I don't really need 6th unless I'm over 130
@@RealRickCox I was thinking about trading my Hayabusa in for a ZX10 cuz I like the durability of that motorcycle and it has cruise control the only thing I'm worried about is the torque I like a lot of torque with horsepower you think it will satisfy me in first gear does it have enough torque. The Hayabusas brutal in all gears. I know some of these Superbikes take time to get the horsepower but I never rode one of them.
@@kevingramajo818 If my friend hadn't gotten screwed over by Yamaha on his brand new R1, I'd tell you it's a great bike. The transmission is the weak spot. My buddy had his break and took it in for service. They replaced part of the transmission and then it broke 3 months later. After owning it for more than 18 months, it's been in the shop for all but 4 of those months and Yamaha won't warranty the latest problems which totaled the engine.
I got the 2020 instead of the new one I think the 2020 are alittle better power and look wise what do you think? Have you rode both ? My friends all went for the 2021 but they all say my 2020 is better
Easier to service, more reliable, cheaper, cheaper to maintain, better launch control customization, can service it yourself without losing factory warranty, can put an exhaust on it and flash it without losing factory warranty. S1k has alot more features tho, just more bang for buck as it is a cheaper overall bike
If you are gonna ride like that you should have gotten the zx-4 or zx-6 and put the rest of the cash toward riding lessons for your wife's son. Misleading title. Compensating.

Only downside I had with this bike it’s not the most agile one ☝🏼. The rest is superb! You also could say it’s very stable in the corners ;)

I have a service light that comes on when I start it.Disappears in 5 seconds,but a little wrench stays above my tachometer. Any idea wtf?
