@@cryptokoosha DEC is not a stablecoin as it is proclaimed for some people within splinterlands community, it is intended to peg with dollar and there were some discussions and measures that devs took in order to achieve it, but lately it doesn´t seem to be something can be done, in fact it is possible that always exists downs and falls around the 1 usd = 1,000 DEC (the peg intended for). 2- With SPS apart from voting the proposals in the ecosystem, you can stake SPS and receive more SPS, you can add it to different Pools to get more SPS, change into DEC or sell it and buy other coins, also it is important to hold some quantities of SPS staked in-game to receive better rewards in the ranked battles. 3- Validators were sold more than a year ago (if I can remember) and they work since the launch, if you put your validator to work it gives you SPS in return, the thing I don´t know is how many SPS yo get back but at the beginning I knew it was tons of SPS, cause also the price of only one validator was something not so many people could afford. 4- Spells are not usable by now, but it is intended to be used in battles when some update will come. I don´t understand what you mean with items.
It sounded like the whole video was "I don't know what this is", yet you declared that it was a bad game... very disingenuous. When you make a video it's a good idea to actually ask questions and get answers to them so that you can sound educated on the topic instead of basically just posting click bait. I am ashamed that as a Splinterlands players I gave you a view and comment for this hit piece. Your other defense where people are critical of you saying "I don't know" (repeatedly) and you reply with "I meant I just don't see the reason behind this" means you had an opportunity to actually get answers yourself about the game, and you chose not to. That's plain lazy.
Appreciate your input and feedback. Since you've been engaged with my replies, could you share more about how you're enjoying Splinterlands? I'm genuinely interested in your perspective and it would help me provide better insights in any future videos. Pretend you're pitching the game to a friend-what makes it enjoyable or worth your while? Thanks for your time!
@cryptokoosha This is something you should have done before even posting this video. If a teacher gave you a project, and they said "Write me a report on Splinterlands. Give me details on DEC, SPS, Lands, Nodes, and gameplay." And the project you turned in had "I don't know" as every answer... do you think you'd have received a passing grade? That being said, I used to be a competitive Magic the Gathering player, and I turned to Splinterlands because it's a strategy trading card game like a cross between Magic and Hearthstone. You're given a mana cap and need to use your existing NFT cards to create the best team for the ruleset to try and defeat your opponents team. You don't just "choose random cards" like you did in your video, you have to have the right cards in the right places as they all compliment each other and the rulesets with their abilities. The game follows a traditional "tank in the front" to absorb damage, as well as ranged attackers (who typically can't attack from the front), and magic attackers who are powerful, but typically weak. The old rock / paper / scissors. There is a lot of strategy, as you may design the perfect "magic team" only to have your opponent predict this and build an "anti-magic team" the counters your strategy. In an earthquake ruleset where non flying monsters take damage every round, you may design a team that uses "snare" to cause opponents flying creatures to lose flying, and therefore take earthquake damage. It is a very well thought out game with a LOT of strategy, you can't just expect to jam cards into any old place and expect to win. As far as "bots" go, they ARE legal in wild format (for now), but NOT in Modern, where the real players play and the rewards are much higher. I encourage you to learn more about the game (we have a very open and friendly community when not outright attacked, like this current video does) and some of the strategy behind it. It is easy to learn but hard to master. The fact that you earn rewards for every game win and actually OWN and can buy / sell assets on the various marketplaces gives it an edge over games like Hearthstone / Magic Arena where any funds that you put in are immediately gone forever. I hope this helps you for future videos and I encourage you to learn more about the games you're critiquing before making random "why you should not play this game" reviews. It's detrimental to the game community and does not lend to your credibility. Thank you for your reply.
Thank you for your detailed response. I want to emphasize that my video aimed to provide a first impression rather than an in-depth analysis, sharing opinions based on initial interactions with the game. As a new player, the gameplay didn't strike me as very engaging, and the earning potential, judging by charts and other metrics, seemed less promising. Additionally, the development progress over the past three years raised questions for me. Maybe a comprehensive video from experienced players could help outsiders better understand the game, addressing aspects like gameplay, potential earnings, and development timelines. It's crucial to note that my intention wasn't to undermine the enjoyment of current players. I'd be more than willing to revisit and make a follow-up video if my initial impressions prove to be inaccurate. However, based on my current experience, I hold the opinion that this is not a game I would recommend. Thank you again for your feedback, and I'll consider your insights for future discussions.

Thanks for sharing your experience! It seems Axie is even worse then. I'm genuinely curious about your approach. Could you share how much time you put in each month, and how you're extracting profit? @@cryptokoosha The league you play in determines your earnings: bronze, silver, gold, diamond, or champion. Beginners should avoid playing Champion since it will be disastrous, but if you play Bronze every day for a year, you should be able to get cards that will level you up because reward chests have random reward cards inside.
You clearly stated over and over that you don't know about this game, yet you gave a recommendation not to play it... you make a lot of assumptions which clearly show you didn't make much real effort to learn anything about what is going on, basically guessing what each page is for. Splinterlands is a very in depth game-fi project, from just the "game" aspect, it's a quick hit CCG, but the defi and economy of this game is very detailed and everything plays into something else in the economy. The community is large and engaged with a plethora of 3rd part sites, including markets, tools and even a couple other games where you can use your SL cards. The one thing you did show is that from a new players perspective, it's hard to really understand what is going on right off the bat, luckily, the team has the new player experience as one of it's higher priorities this year. If you enjoy a CCG where you actually own your assets, like the idea of renting cards to play instead of owning, or you like playing with a detailed economy, all on a chain with no fees, it's definitely worth a try.
Thanks for sharing your take! I get the depth and ambition of Splinterlands, but as of now, it has failed to deliver. I'll give it another shot once the updates are in. Appreciate the info!
so are you with us or not? i feel this game was easy to exploit & take advantage by having 100s of bot run - all of that is history, now it requires a bit more effort thus not worth running the bots as much, REMEMBER they are developing something very unique, trial & errors are part of the journey
Thank you for tuning in and sharing your thoughts. To clarify, my intention is not to take a stance for or against a particular game. I'm simply documenting my personal experiences and opinions while engaging with web3 games. However, as you mentioned the importance of updates, I do plan to revisit and create a follow-up video. At this moment, it's not a game I would readily recommend to my friends
For 90% of the video the presenter kept on saying… I don’t know what it is, I don’t know what that is… even for node licences he had zero knowledge of the way they are being sold . But he had the audacity to pronounce that this is a bad game.. lol. The stuff people do to earn few cents 😂😂
Hey, thanks for checking out the video and sharing your thoughts. I appreciate your feedback. Some of those "I don't knows" were more like "I don't see the point of this" because, honestly, after three years, there doesn't seem to be much of a game to play yet. I've got more control over my outcomes playing Minesweeper at this point. And just so you know, I'm not even monetized on my channel. My approach is more about being a critical crypto gamer rather than just hyping things up. If I were a moon boy, maybe I'd have a better shot at it. Curious, though - how many hours a day are you putting into this game?
Thanks for sharing your impressive game stats! You've dedicated a significant amount of time to it. I'm curious about your experience: Could you share your return on investment? Given your extensive gameplay, I'm guessing you've climbed up the ranks. How has your investment in the game translated into earnings? How much have you spent on the game thus far? Understanding the financial side can give a better perspective on the game's value. What are your expectations or hopes for the future of this game? Any specific features or improvements you'd like to see? I'm keen to hear more about your journey and insights into the game. Thanks for taking the time to share!

Excelent question (there was no way to answer in the same thread, so I'll right a new comment here. To get to a decent pool of cards to choose for your games you need 1st: The game itself (the spellbook) witch is 10 usd. And all the rest can be rented for 0,10 USD a day, or even less, to play in a decent way. There's a nice card market attached to the game, so it's quite easy to get a lot of relevant cards to choose each game. And the returns of a game session kind of pay back the rents easily. So a person should not play any money playing casually (and of course, it won't make any relevant money on the process... maybe some cents or some bucks). For the game to be better, what should be foucused on is the initial learning curve, not just for the game, but to the market itself, since the market is a very important part on a successful, joyful experience within the game.
thank you for sharing these insights, i guess since it is targeted at the crypto audience and there is not much earning potential, people won't bother to dive deep into it. maybe the future updates will fix that.
Thanks for the feedback. While doing my homework is important, I believe the real improvements will come when the developers do theirs. I'll keep an eye on the updates. Appreciate your input!
Sorry but you are wrong in so many aspect of the game. It seems like you didnt really want to make an accurate review. At this point, you better just not make any video if you are to mislead your audience.. The only thing you need to know with facts, other than if you like the game or not, is the average gains when playing this game. I am very average player playing in bronze 3. I only bought the spellbook (10$) in this game. There is 2 seasons per month and I rent cards for 1.60$ per season in bronze (costs me 3.20$ per month). I win minimum 25 battles/day giving me ~ 0.50$/day so around 15$/month. Not including tournament when you get good or anyway daily rewards from chest. In a month, i made my ROI in less than a month and now its all profits. That is considering we have not yet recovered from bearmarket AND that i play only in bronze. For whoever seeing this video and passing splinterlands opportunity.. i feel sorry for you 😢
Thanks for sharing your experience! It's great to hear about your positive ROI. I'm curious, could you share how many hours per day you dedicate to the game to achieve the $15/month? Also, do you genuinely enjoy the battles, or is it more of a quick in-and-out for the earnings? Appreciate the insights!
@@cryptokoosha i enjoy the battles, takes me around 2 hours per day. There is LOTS of strategies to learn. Also its a good mix between a game and market, calculating more profitable ways to maximize profits, etc.
I'm glad to hear you're enjoying the game, and it's evident you're not an average player. I've seen TH-cam videos where people claim to earn only $50/year, so you're doing something right
I don´t have any problem with the points you touched through your video, as it is understandable that you don´t understand many of the things that happened in this game as you are a newbie in it, however, I completely disagree with your last words at the end of your video. The game is so funny and it has a lot of complexity of what monsters and summoners you should use depend on the rules and mana of each battle. I am astonished about one of the comments here that you claimed you played the game around 2020, it´s seems as you played a pair of battles and abandoned the boat. Me with only a month after have been started the game around 2021, I understood the basic concepts implied in a splinterlands battle. Sorry, but to give an informed opinion people should know the product they are talking about, deeply.
I know I haven't played the game for hours, but the general structure of the game is completely understandable after the first few battles. Enjoyment is very subjective, so I understand that some players might like this type of game. However, my point is, if you enjoy this type of game, there are better, more developed, and more engaging games out there. Why play this one when the earning potential is also close to nothing, (at least in the past two years)? thank you for your feedback I really appreciate it and I want to get better at informing people.
SPL is far from a perfect game, however, I feel like you couldve went to the discord, asked to have a 30 mins talk with any of the active people there and the video would be a lot better (just a lazy video imo)
@@cryptokoosha i respect your opnion, but if I take ur own sentence that I quoted in my previous message, anyone can see that you didnt even try to understand the game and how would anyone enjoy a strategy game that you dont understand?
I agree with you and other people in the SPL community that my video wasn't thorough enough and I have said once the game updates are finally here I will do a better review of it. But I had played this game in the previous cycle and it wasn't appealing then, it still isn't. The whole point of the video is that if you enjoy this kind of game and since there is not much of an earning potential here; you would be better off playing Hearthstone, magic of Gathering, Gwent, or any other more developed game out there.
I appreciate your feedback. Could you please specify which information you find misleading? This will help me address any inaccuracies and improve the content. Thanks for bringing it to my attention.

Thanks for sharing your perspective. Do you play the game because you genuinely enjoy it, or is your involvement more driven by investment considerations?
@@cryptokoosha more investment, there is a little bit of enjoyment, but quite a bit of that enjoyment comes from gaining daily and seasonal loot chests which i guess is part of the investment aspect, im ony a small player, id say ive invested about 1000$, some in the bear market some in the bull market, im maybe slightly up, but if and when the next bull market kicks in i could be up significantly, maybe 10x . this game has made millionaires but they where there from the very beginning, i totally accept the game isnt great and its not realy getting any better imo

@@cryptokoosha hahaha why would i tell you anything you just bad mouth splinterlands big time and you do not even know what your talking about or even play the game . you said You should not play this crypto game in 2024 - Splinterlands it should of said cryptokoosha should not post videos lol
I guess everyone is entitled to their opinion.
Half a dollar a day earnings is a reasonable conclusion. People should try the game and see if it’s fun for them. Fun plus earning would be a win
Yes, fun is missing from most web3 games.
I play both splinterlands and axie infinity. Surprisingly to you maybe but im making more money in splinterlands than in axie infinity. Note that I have more assets in Axie than in Splinterlands. So i dont know
Thanks for sharing your experience! It seems Axie is even worse then. I'm genuinely curious about your approach. Could you share how much time you put in each month, and how you're extracting profit? Additionally, what aspect of the games do you find more enjoyable - the earning potential or choosing your battle deck? I appreciate your insights!
@@cryptokoosha i play 3 accounts and spend 1-2 hours a day in the game. I would say if you know and learn the game youl earn decent amount of money
Good to know you're doing well with three accounts! it's interesting how some on youtube claim low earnings - maybe a strategy to keep others out.
Thanks for the info! A year-long grind doesn't sound bad if the game is enjoyable, but for me, it felt more like doing chores. Appreciate the comment
At this moment, it's not a game I would readily recommend to my friends
good point, hopefully the game comes up with something soon, great response@@cryptokoosha
@@cryptokoosha "You should not play this crypto game in 2024 - Splinterlands" ... Moron and click baiter
I've played almost 42,000 games, and watched them all. His viewers don't even get to watch one.
I'm curious about your experience:
Could you share your return on investment? Given your extensive gameplay, I'm guessing you've climbed up the ranks. How has your investment in the game translated into earnings?
How much have you spent on the game thus far? Understanding the financial side can give a better perspective on the game's value.
What are your expectations or hopes for the future of this game? Any specific features or improvements you'd like to see?
I'm keen to hear more about your journey and insights into the game. Thanks for taking the time to share!
@@cryptokoosha you sound like a 10 year old kid you do not even know what your talking about bots are on wild format not in modern
,why am i even replying to this pathetic post your video sucks !
I was thinking the same! Why are you replying to my reply to someone else's comment?
Reading the comments section was more valuable then watching the video. 😂
I'm glad you found something to be useful
No offense bro but you don't seem to know much about the ecosystem yet you make a clickbait video like this! This is quite disingenuous imo. You kept saying you don't know yet and claimed people should not play.
Hey, thanks for checking out the video and sharing your thoughts. I appreciate the feedback. Just to clarify, some of those "I don't knows" were more like "I don't see a reason behind it".
I'm genuinely interested in understanding how you find joy and fun in playing this game, especially with all its features and items. Could you share more about your experience and what keeps you engaged? I'm open to learning more about different perspectives on the game.
you cant review a game you don't know anything about it
Thanks for commenting and sharing your feedback.
Terrible review. You obviously have not done your homework.
"and then you choose these guys as I do randomly" cracked me up. GREAT way to try a game lol
I appreciate your feedback and i agree it wasn't my best video but the game is just not fun.
The information on this video is very misleading.
I appreciate your feedback. Could you please specify which information you find misleading? This will help me address any inaccuracies and improve the content. Thanks for bringing it to my attention.
i play splintrerlands, i aint mad at this review, quite a few things i dont like about this game, and i cant say its improving, is what it is, that is all
Thanks for sharing your perspective.
Thanks for keeping it real! It seems like most players are just waiting for the next bull run to cash in and take advantage of newbies joining. Not a bad plan if the game was more about fun, but since it's all about the money, the new players might end up holding the bag. Appreciate your honest take!
@@cryptokoosha no doubt, if bull market kicks in and loads of new players fomo in when the inevitable bear market comes back around they will be holding bags
Yeah, I meant to say, they won't be saying, 'At least I'm enjoying it.' They'll have to wait for the next cycle
No offense but you have to know deeper first about the game before doing a review. I play lots of p2e hames but splinterlands is the most profitable one even playing at lower rank/league. Just sharing
Thanks for commenting and providing your insights! Could you share more about your investment and how much you're making? It would be interesting to know, as it might help compare with other play-to-earn games. Appreciate the information
