Some parents don’t tell them that at all. Also a lot of parents back in my day never said it. We were allowed to just ride bikes everywhere, say hi to people, wave and smile. Nobody was really a “stranger” and some parents still have that mentality.
@Mrslckygrl77 It's common sense, but i guess if you need to be told not to talk to strangers, her parents should of did better at letting her know the dangers.
That’s my question, even if you have a runaway child, don’t you still look for them? They’re still underage, so I’m a little confused why it’s brushed off
I don’t trust these parents. Troubled teens don’t become this way over night. She ran away before and she left willingly with a strange man to buy/smoke weed after asking to go to the restroom? This girl is going to need a lot of therapy to overcome the trafficking and whatever else she went through with her parents prior to that.
@PatyM00N there are plenty of hardships that happen to people that have nothing to do with their parents. I have seen plenty of kids have loving a family and try to run the streets and l have seen people have terrible childhoods and grow up to be exceptional people. Like I said it's not always the parents.
@ Children are resilient and some do overcome trauma or any other adversity. In this case, it’s evident that the parents are narcissistic and hiding more than what they have shown, especially the mom. Their story has raised many red flags for a reason. The chances of children, who are raised without trauma, developing any sort of neurosis or mental disorder that affects their future is very, very slim. I doubt that is the case here, considering this girl ran away from her own home and essentially from her parents.
"Shes 15 shes going to make mistakes". Yeah when I was 15 my mistakes were missing homeworks and forgetting to do chores, and calling out of work because I wanted to play games. I was born n raised in Cali. I started smoking weed when I was in jr high around 15. Weed is not a drug it's a plant it doesn't alter your mind to the same extent drugs do. I was a very rebellious teenager I might have chatted online with people (others have said she knew chatted with this man prior to meeting him at the stadium) but still at 15 I would have NEVER left anywhere with a stranger especially a male.

These parents are off to me. This poor girl and everything that happened to her and I am sorry for everything that this family has gone through but there is more emotion in the host asking the questions than the parents and how they talk about their daughter and what was done to her. It's just weird. It should still be making them emotional and choked up.
... yeah... how long ago did this happen? Because they seem so nonchalant and the comment about "we've been dealing with normal 18 year old stuff, so this is a change" was so callous from the dad... like, where is his rage? Where is his masculinity? His desire to protect his child... but everyone handles trauma differently... it does seem bizarre though
That seemed off to me as well.

Their behviour is very strange.
There is probably a reason their child was running away and smoking weed. If theyre poorly raised they end up as easy victims for predators
They got their child BACK! Do you know how many parents don’t? But I’m curious, how exactly should they be talking?
I don’t trust these parents. Troubled teens don’t become this way over night. She ran away before and she left willingly with a strange man to buy/smoke weed after asking to go to the restroom? This girl is going to need a lot of therapy to overcome the trafficking and whatever else she went through with her parents prior to that.
Lots of girls come from healthy homes and run away. A lot of kids rebel against their parents for no reason.
@@djbobby224 Disagree. There is ALWAYS a reason. ALWAYS.
@@djbobby224There is always a reason. Children aren’t born broken.
Smoking weed, and doing so with strangers, isn't a mistake. It's gross incompetence both from her and her parents.
Too much tiktok and too much brain rot content. I know 12 year olds who are smoking. I grew up in Jamaica where marijuana has been prevalent...yet none of me or my friends smoked at such a young age.

14 year old Jamaican here, I absolutely agree, she was out of control her parents should have done better, she should have known better. Yes, she was a victim, I do feel for her for that, but she needed serious help and discipline.
I'm reading people saying she made a mistake. Like normal choices for 15 year old girls are to sneak and lie and go away with strange men, for drugs.
.
