I always raise an eyebrow at anyone who says, “Well, kids are resilient, they’ll get over it.” I know adults love to say that because it makes them feel better, but that statement is not rooted in any way as a matter of facts. Trauma affects everyone differently and no one knows what the long term effects it’ll have. All I know, is that the more we as a society, hush up and downplay traumas in kids, the more those kids will suffer as adults, inflicting damage to themselves and/ or others. I sincerely hope the adults in his children’s lives are putting their mental health at the forefront of all of their brothers’ and dad’s problems.

I am of the opinion that when the federal government conducts raids on people's homes, it is a grave matter that demonstrates a deep understanding of the situation within those homes. I do not think the feds carry out such raids based on mere assumptions.
