Hi! I plan on moving from CA soon, and will check out both SC and northeast FLA. Would you say that the humidity in summer in those two states is similar? Also (sorry, a little off-topic) I love your accent! Where did you move from originally? Great video, thanks!
Thank you for reaching out and for asking such great questions! It's great to hear that you're considering a move to either South Carolina or northeast Florida. In terms of summer humidity, both states can experience warm and humid weather. However, the degree of humidity can vary. South Carolina, including Columbia, tends to have a moderately humid climate, while northeast Florida, especially coastal areas, may experience higher humidity levels. Factors like proximity to the coast can influence the overall climate.
I would be delighted to talk to you further about it! Feel free to give me a call at (803) 220-1678 or you can email me at Sandra@PalmettoMove.com.
I am originally from Columbia, South America. Let's have a conversation soon.
How are mosquitos in the home yards over there? Are they manageable or theres no way to avoid frequently getting bit by them? We spend a lot of time in the back yard so hopefully it can be managed.
It really depends. Where I live currently I go to the yard and have no issues.
Not that it matters any because, apparently, mosquitoes love me.
Where I used to live my husband will be outside all the time and he won't get bitten.
Thank you for watching and for your comment.

Does Columbia have alligators🐊 ?
Hey Cynthia! Thank you for watching my video and for your question.
We do notnhave alligators (at least not in the rivers and Lake Murray).
I've only seen them in Lake Marion in the swampy areas (far enough away from Columbia).
Are you planning to move here?
@@palmettomove next year in August of 2024 I’m thinking of possibly Georgia first and South Carolina as my close second choice
@@cynthiap2620 excellent. I lived in GA for about 10 years and I can honestly say I like SC better.
It is smaller, less traffic, less people, slower pace of life, etc.
Let me know if you have any questions.
Also, let me know if you would like me to send you property alerts here in SC.
I also know an excellent agent in GA that can help find a home if you decide to move there.
I'm gonna guess that you are an Aries.
Interesting guess!
@@palmettomove are you actually an Aries?
